Great food! Gyoza was nice and crispy; sushi and tempura were great. My uncle had a shellfish/shrimp allergy. We were warned that most things were contaminated. The chef assured us things would be cleaned, and he ordered a stake bento box. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal and had no issues. We well be back!

On vacation. Went for the sushi and it was very good. We have an excellent sushi restaurant near us in our hometown and this was not as good as that is, so if there was a 4.5 it is what I’d rate this.Service was excellent. Very attentive. Water is not filtered, in a vacation are we’d recommend that as a service to the customers. Not to have to purchase bottled water. There was a lot of food. Ended up not having room for one of our meals so took it to go. Pot stickers were very good.

Rather bland nondescript dishes masquerading as Korean / Asian food. At least some of the staff seem to be Korean. I wonder how they themselves would rate their own restaurant.

First of all it's not a Japanese place. It's mainly korean, and then, I suppose, whatever Chinese food they think they could add. The menu is a real hodgepodge. Each type of food is what you would expect from a basic restaurant opened by someone who is trying to satisfy everyone while satisfying no one.I went in for lunch at noon on a monday, one person at the sushi bar, and a couple at a table. That was it. The waitress brought a menu fairly quickly but her command of English was extremely limited, so it was difficult to get questions like do you have cold green tea or do you have cold tofu answered. That was fine, although it would have been nice half dozen or more small plates of Korean vegetables when normally gets with a Korean meal. I waited for an answer for a while but nothing happened.I moved to the sushi bar thinking that perhaps service would be a little quicker. Plus I do prefer my Sushi fresh cut, and assumed the sushi chef with handed to me.At the sushi bar, the waitress brought my menu back and told me to place my order through her, which again was fine. I still assumed for some reason that the sushi chef would hand it to me. He never, in the half hour I was there, looked up. Not once. Not when I said hello, not when I put my order in. About 15 minutes after I put my order in, and again there were only two other patrons in the place, he disappeared for 10 more minutes. I was just about to leave when he returned after the waitress went looking for him. He finally made my order, handed it over the counter to me again without making any sort of eye contact or looking up.All of this might not have bothered me if the sushi were any good. It was a very simple order. Two pieces of ikura sushi and one order of salmon sashimi. One glass of Club soda. Mind you, not Perrier but Club soda. The ikura was someone tasteless, though edible. The wasabi was old enough that it had started to turn brown. The sashimi came on shredded daikon so old it was brown and tan rather than a crisp clear white color. The sashimi itself was so bad that after eating a small piece I left the rest. It wasn't just tasteless. It was not good.I asked my waitress for the check and she noticed the plate but didn't ask why I had left most of the food. $22 later I am giving this restaurant a single star.Oh. Even after I left, 40 minutes after I had initially sat down, the sushi chef never looked up. Instead he occupied himself on his phone.

The wasabi was old enough that it had started to turn brown. The sashimi came on shredded daikon so old it was brown & limp. I ate a small piece of the sashimi and then left it because it was awful. Ask for the check, the waitress looked at my plate but didn't ask what was wrong, I paid $22 for this miserable experience and left. Very much do not recommend. 40 minutes I'll never get back.

Reasonable food, good overall but probably should have a rating lower than the current 4.6.

We followed Sam Oh Jung from their previous location. The food is always delicious, and the staff is attentive. Be ready for a wait on the weekend at dinner time but it is worth it. This is a go-to spot for sushi in Bradenton.

Very small portions and very high prices. The food was halfway decent but nothing special. Definitely not worth the price. Recommend many other Chinese or Asian restaurants in the area. Much cheaper and way bigger portions. I posted a picture of a chicken teriyaki dinner. Look at this mess. Buyer beware!
