Sandy Toes Luxury Beach Picnics

Buyer beware coming from a seasoned party planner. Run!!! Do not let this vendor ruin your event. This is not a caterer! We had a sunset beach picnic planned for my husband’s 60th on March 25, 2025 from 6:00-7:30. Uncomfortably she required me to pay all deposits and payments to her personal Venmo account instead of the business account $1800 total in advance. As a storm blew in she placed the food and told us to come at 5:24, by 5:39 it was raining as my photos below show. Her reasoning was so they could take pictures of it. She made no effort to salvage the food before it rained by taking it to the covered pavilion 100 feet away or the house we were renting 1 block (3min away)which I suggested as my texts showed attached and she goes on to argue with me telling me to get me and my guests to get out there. At 5:48 she called to say it was pouring and everything was soaked. My husband offer offered to walk over and get the food and she said it was soaked! What?🤷🏻‍♀️. So there was no picnic (a food event) for us to attend at 6:00. Instead her and her assistant were standing out in the rain watching the food go to waste. Since then has sent pages of crazy texts saying everything was beautiful and she did her job with no refund I was happy to forfeit the deposit and she refused to return the $1400. She only had 7 plates to move/deliver at a food cost of $680 to feed 14 adults. Wouldn’t have had a problem with forfeiting the deposit or even paid the full about had we gotten food we ordered. Her obligation was to be 100% responsible for making the call of rain delay, moving the food, just like any other caterer would do. When asked what her plan B was she didn’t have one as our 12 other guests listened to her phone call to tell us she had just left the e food out to get wet Her only obligation was to have the food ready for us to eat at 6:00. And my commitment was to show up with my 14 guests at 6:00. Sadly I’ve had to file a claim with all the details. First time ever after doing a lifetime of catered events.

I booked a surprise sunset dinner for my husband’s birthday and it was fabulous! The table was beautifully decorated and the food was great. Jenee was very easy to work with and even developed a back up plan in case of rain (which we didn’t need). Highly recommend this experience for anyone considering a special event.

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had in AMI! I set this up as a surprise for my wife on her birthday, and Jenee was amazing to work with! She was consistent in communicating, took note of every detail, and made sure everything was perfect, down to having fresh hand-picked flowers out! She took pictures of the set up, of us, and even edited the photos to get the random bystanders out of the background. She stayed nearby and checked in to make sure we were enjoying everything, but was not intrusive and let us have our time together. She also made great recommendations for things to do on the island that’s only known to locals. Bonus: she even found me a shark tooth!!

I cannot endorse this enough. Whatever the occasion is, Sandy Toes will hit the mark and then some!!!

It was very easy to work with Jenee. The picnic was beautiful from the decor to the stunning beach. The food was very tasty! Jenee captured wonderful pictures of our 30th anniversary celebration!

They really know how to make a girl feel special! They nailed our beach picnic/proposal, it was everything a girl could want. Definitely would recommend for any occasion! And their photographer they partner with did such an amazing job on our photos, we also got them within a week of the proposal. Overall an incredible experience and would definitely recommend!!!

Jennee created a wonderful beach experience for my wife and I and our two teenage boys (a difficult job to please teenage boys so extra credit due!). The beach is obviously beautiful but the table setting, accents and food made it! We watched the sunset and Jennee had everything sorted for us plus she took some photos for us afterwards. Thank you for an amazing evening!

We were very excited to be down in Anna Maria Island for our best friend’s bachelorette trip and had found Sandy Toes Luxury Beach Picnics to provide a beach picnic for us.Frankly, our experience was anything other than luxury.From the time of booking, Jenee was challenging to get in touch with and not very responsive to emails or phone calls. She would only respond to text messages.Our original plan was to have a picnic on the beach and when Hurricane Idalia hit, we were amenable to changes in plans. However, Jenee informed us there was a 40% chance of rain which meant she was unwilling to set up on the beach. When we checked the weather in the days leading up to and on the day of, this was not the case.Unfortunately though, we weren’t able to have our picnic on the beach and instead had to pivot and have it our rental house.The decor and set up was nice but Jenee didn’t pay attention to our food allergies. Even though we are all responsible and reasonable adults, when someone in the group has a life threatening tree nut and peanut allergy, that has to be respected and accommodated for. This was especially frustrating as we had clearly informed her of allergies and we had asked for a list of what foods would be provided.Our picnic was supposed to run from 10am to 11am and she arrived early (at 10:53am) to break down the set up while also coming into the house without knocking or asking to come in.We had her set up on our screened in porch and as she was cleaning up we watched her dump a pitcher of pink lemonade over the side of the porch into the gravel/seashells by the pool.We tried to hose it off and it reeks of pink lemonade outside.Overall, the food was okay but it was very clearly just purchased from the store and laid out on platters. There was a clear lack of care and for the $625 we spent, I expected more and am very disappointed.

Jenee went above and beyond planning and setting up the most perfect beach picnic for us (last minute too!). We were visiting AMI for the first time, and I discovered her page while looking for things to plan for our children. I contacted her regarding a beach picnic sunset dinner I had wanted to plan for our children. Not only did she pull it off last minute. But our family has a lot of food allergies that she took very seriously and so carefully checked with me multiple times if she had questions. She handled everything from start to finish….and it was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. She included thoughtful settings/activities for our children who are on the younger side knowing that they may not be able to sit still entire time (which she was spot on)Jenee, not only do you do everything to perfection and have it stunningly beautiful…but I hope you know that you are a part of a “core memory” that my children will always have as they are still talking about our magical sunset picnic on the beach. I wanted to surprise my wife with a birthday sunset picnic on the beach, I called Sandy Toes and setting it up was quick and easy, the picnic on the beach was beautiful, and perfect, she went over and behind for our kids to have snacks, and activities for them.
