Such a cute local, down home burger place. Our food was delicious!!!! We got cheeseburgers, fries and chili cheese fries. Everything was so fresh and hot off the grill. We will definitely be coming back!!

I’ve seen this place many times while on the way to the beach. Decided finally to check it out. The cheeseburger was a 10/10. The chicken fingers were 10/10. The fries were 10/10. The Mozzarella sticks were 7/10. The peach shake my wife ordered was a disappointing 3/10. The chocolate shake I ordered was a 7/10.
I’m a little shocked the shakes weren’t better when they are the namesake. The food was super good though.

Shake Pit is a legendary staple of Bradenton. My mom went as a kid in the early 60s and now I love taking my family there. The butterscotch and blueberry shakes are the best hands down!

Our family of 10 popped into the Shake Pit after a day at Coquina Beach. Everyone had ice cream or shakes, and some had their delicious fries with chili and cheese. The portions are very large and the ladies at the window were very courteous and prompt with our orders. We loved that they had large, outdoor tables under cover to enjoy our food on site. We will be back here for sure!
