Those dinners were a huge highlight of our trip, and having a private chef bring a 5-star restaurant experience right to our beach rental was awesome for our big group of 10. Chef Melissa and Suncoast Cuisine helped us celebrate a milestone birthday in style. Chef Melissa worked with us to plan a menu for 15 guests, including various food preferences and kids. She has an amazing selection of dishes she can make, but she also worked with us to craft a menu and plan for our evening that fit our needs. Every dish that evening left us and our guests in awe. We started with a charcuterie tray, tuna, and scallops. We then moved onto the tomahawk steak, lobster risotto, and grouper. We finished with chef’s home made key lime pie. Every bite left us and our guest in awe and dying to try the next course. Also, she created a custom cocktail for our evening and found a bartender for us. I think if you work with Chef Melissa, start early, communicate your plans/expectations and she will put together a wonderful meal for you.

Right off the bat, Chef Melissa allowed us to provide some input into the menu and tailored it to us perfectly! If you enjoy trying new flavors and appreciate where ingredients come from/are sourced, then we would highly recommend Chef Melissa! She was the perfect balance of being professional yet personable while cooking right in front of us. We tried flavors we’ve never had, while enjoying a twist on our favorite foods - like bang bang shrimp, lamb, and pasta! Incredible; the first word that comes to mind. Outstanding and delicious follow. Melissa came and prepared a multi-course tasting meal for a group of friends visiting Ana Maria. Each dish varied, with layered flavors and an explanation of each dish. Steak and lamb cooked to perfection with different mostarda or chutneys. Octopus the most tender I've had. Fresh ceviche and side dishes...and a lemon cake with limoncello. Melissa is an exceptionally talented chef who has travelled globally learning about food. She is prompt, professional, and friendly. We savored every moment. My friends have hired Suncoast Cuisine for 5 years running and now I've tasted why.

My mom who never has raw seafood could not stop raving about the Tuna dish she put together. She even gave me wine pairing suggestions which we purchased on our own (to save a little money) and it was all perfection.
