āāāāā Sunny Wok is my go-to lunch spot, and it never disappoints! The wonton soup is comforting and full of flavor, the Singapore fried noodles are absolutely delicious, and the fried chicken wings are fireācrispy, juicy, and so addictive. The food is always fresh, hot, and consistent every time I order. If youāre looking for tasty, satisfying Chinese food, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Closest Iāve found to what Iām used to in NJ. Taste was really good, just not exactly what Iām used to. Quality and portions were very good. Having the option to order all white meat General Tso was a plus. It was fried lightly instead of crispy. Iāll ask for it fried crispy next time. Pork Lo Mein and Vegetable Fried Rice were good. This will be my new Chinese food spot. Just wish they had Scallion Pancake. No Chinese food joints around here have it except Dim Sum Kitchen but theirs is not fried enough and too doughy instead of flaky.

Worst sesame chicken Iāve had in quite a while, shouldāve asked for white rice, mightāve cleansed the pallet better than the greasy āporkā fried rice. Thankful to have the wonton soup to wash down what I had to choke down. Wouldnāt have minded the rudeness if the food was good. Also saw a rat in the parking lot while waiting for the food. All facts, just wanted edible Chinese food. All breading, no chicken, all old oil msg and no pork in this gross fried rice. I never write reviews, take it at face value.

Been getting taken out from here for over 20 years. I drive ten miles further R T and pass at least 3 other Chinese restaurants.
I love finding new places to eat. I'm not sure how I have missed the Sunny Wok for the entire year plus that I have lived here in Bradenton but I am definitely glad that I found it. It's right next to the Goodwill just off of 70.
It's pretty much what you expect from a little Chinese restaurant. It is a clean little shop with a half dozen tables. And of course the great scent of the food being cooked in the kitchen.
I ordered two of the lunch specials (which is served with either white or fried rice and either an egg roll or a can of soda). I ordered the bourbon chicken and a beef with black beans and vegetables. I also ordered a large egg drop soup.
Both lunches were great and the egg drop soup was spectacular tasting and had a fantastic amber color.
I will definitely be ordering lunch from Sunny Wok again.

Let me tell you the service was excellent. And it is a typical American Chinese restaurant. And I know every Chef is different in their preparations. However, the pork fried rice leaves something to be desired. It wasn't that great. The sesame chicken was amazing. It was delicious and sweet and savory exactly how it's supposed to be. The chicken lo mein was also very delicious. I gave it a four for the food because of the fried rice. That's like a staple of Chinese food. It just wasn't that great. Everything else was fantastic though.
