We have never had a bad meal at Sweet tomatoes. I keep hoping and praying that the previous owner(s) of Sweet Tomatoes will find a way to re-open the chain or that somebody with the same passion will re-open Sweet Tomatoes.......and soon ........and i'm quite sure there are many others that feel the same way. And with the population explosion in the Bradenton area filling the seats will not be an issue.

I really, really loved Sweet Tomatoes. Sadly, they have gone bankrupt and closed all 97 locations on the US. Covid-19 claimed an excellent restaurant. ?

This place is a vegetarians paradise. Excellent variety of salads and soups. If you want the healthy choice, this is the place for you. Excellent staff, excellent service and a wide variety of soups, salads and other delicious foods. 10/10 as we don’t have anything remotely close to this place here in Canada.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on 2/14/20!!! I was especially impressed with the cashier named Adam! He was very observant and offered to help since we had never been there before. His manager should be proud of his customer service skills! Thank you!

Usually a great experience. I have been coming here with my husband since this location opened, however tonight, we witnessed behavior by the elderly patrons that will make me seriously question ever returning. In the space of 10 minutes I watched as a snow bird blew his runny nose into a hanky and proceed to touch each soup ladle. This same uneducated potato then decided reusing his soup bowl (with spoon still in it) was acceptable buffet behavior. The staff seemed to care less.
Such good food with unique salads and great soups! A must when we are in Florida!

A soup and salad lovers paradise, the buffet was clean,the staff was friendly and service was good, the soups we amazing, hot, homemade and delicious, the salad bar was clean and fresh, the only drawback was its about 15$ for dinner with drink included, it's just a tad high but the food is very fresh and delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant and definitely will be going back myself, they do let you get the soups for take out, that is something I will definitely be treating myself to in the future, give it a try you will be glad you did.

Thanks for a nice dinner out with my daughter ! She picked Sweet Tomatoes for our girls night :) food was yummy fresh and staff as always was very nice and welcoming.... we did have to wait for 10mins on a Tuesday night for a table for 2 ... only reason I'm not giving 5 stars

We have been to Sweet Tomatoes in Arizona, so we were happy to find one in Florida. It is buffet style. You get a tray and go down the line making your own salad and choosing from others that are made up. Wide selections. The had a Senior Special for $8.69 that included your drink. This was quite a savings. It was good for a few hours in the afternoon. Then you can choose from about 4 kinds of soup, macaroni & cheese and some other foods on a bar. There is also an ice cream machine and toppings to make your own sundae. You can't beat the price and the place is clean and kept stocked.
