Tandoor Fine Indian Cuisine

Had dinner on a Saturday evening, with our server, Justin (spelled Justim on the check!). Fabulous food, including the stuffed naan, and the Tandoor Sampler. Drinks (mango spritz was my favorite), were fantastic. Excellent customer service!! Will definitely return

Date night and it was a very enjoyable, relaxing evening. Server JR was very attentive, polite, with friendly conversation. Owners checked in several times. Oh yeah, the food was excellent!! (Enough for leftovers!:)

We come here often and it’s our favorite Indian food restaurant in Sarasota. Never disappoints. Come ask for Sofia! We’ve had her many times and every time we get great service. Definitely try out the tiki masala and their garlic naan bread!

We ordered butter chicken, saag paneer, garlic naan, and a sweet lassie via Uber eats. The butter chicken arrived with two small pieces of chicken with half an entre of sauce. The saag was overflowing. Unfortunately, both dishes tasted like a salt lick. We ended up eating the naan, which was good, and throwing the rest away. Fortunately, Uber eats refunded the chicken. The fella we spoke with at the restaurant offered to comp is a new one, but there is no way we're returning for seconds.

I’ve always pick up uber eats order from here and it was always packed. I wanted to try it but very skeptical because the first time I go it from another restaurant it was very sour and nasty but the butter chicken and garlic naan from here was amazing. 10/10

My wife and I love Indian food, and I’m especially fond of tandoori chicken because it’s typically so moist and flavorful. Sadly, that wasn’t our experience with their signature dish here — the chicken was surprisingly dry, and we had to slather it in sauce just to get it down.

The garlic naan was also disappointing — too dry, with barely any butter or garlic. Even the mango lassi was overly thick and heavy.

We really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it was a big miss for us.

Tandoor is always fabulous. There was a little backlog in the kitchen Saturday night but our server handled it perfectly. Sophia is one of the best servers we’ve ever had. She’s a treasure!
