We were vacationing from West Virginia and stumbled across this gem on our way back from Anne-Marie Island. We decided to give it a try based on others reviews. This place was a 10/10. The food and service were superb. The atmosphere was elegant, write down to the piano music in the background. We will definitely be back.
Food was amazing. Meatball and French onion soup were top notch and the shrimp fra diavlo was perfect with a decent amount of heat. Jessica our server was amazing, will be back again!

Bone marrow tasted like gelatin and bread crumbs (flavorless), steaks very salty. Tiramisu was the best I've ever had. Service was great. I'll give them another try because this place is super expensive and there is no way they'd charge that much for over salted steaks, especially with a celebrity chef on the menu.

Food, atmosphere and drinks were amazing. Service was okay. Had to ask several times for things. I would highly recommend trying it out. Recommend sharing appetizers. Great way to taste them all.
Parking: Valet is great convenience! Not a lot of non-valet options.

The noise level was too high. No spoon to stir coffee. The filet was very good but doubt we will be back. No salt or pepper on table. Took an hour to get our food on a Wednesday night

Visiting from New York and it has been difficult to find good Italian food. Taverna Toscana exceeded our expectations. The ambiance and food was top notch. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. We all ordered the Parmesan pull apart bread which was light and airy as well as the French onion soup as an app which had the perfect consistency of onions and bread. Our friend ordered the Ossobucco which was delicious and the best he’s had. Myself and my husband got the short rib bolognese with fresh pasta which was delicious. Our other friend got the penne rose which also was delicious. The waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I cannot wait for my next trip down here I will definitely be back.

This restaurant was very beautiful and has a nice outdoor patio. The food and drinks were quite good. The service was not excellent. The staff did not seem friendly and did not make an effort to mention my husband’s birthday, which was noted in my reservation. The wrong side dish was delivered with our dinner. The two of us were placed side by side in a big, u-shaped booth by the service station, which was noisy. There is also a big tree in the middle of the dining area that you have to brush into in order to get out. Doesn’t make much sense. It was not a comfortable seating experience. But overall, this is a nice addition to Bradenton. Despite my minor inconveniences, I think others will enjoy it.

This a more upscale restaurant for the area and pricier than other restaurants in downtown Bradenton. To start, parking is via valet service, but is free (whether valet is actually needed is another matter). The guys were nice and took good care of our vehicle. We took the elevator to the restaurant, and were greeted by the hostess. We were promptly seated, even though there were a couple of other parties there as well. The server approached us soon after and took our drink orders. In general, he was attentive and friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the evening. He provided a couple of recommendations and also answered any questions we had. We ended up ordering the Parker rolls and French onion soup as appetizers. They were both decent, but we definitely enjoyed the bread more. Besides the sesame seeds and somewhat burnt top, the bread was moist and delicious. We didn’t really care for the French onion soup too much - it was too salty and not much flavor otherwise. For entrees, I ordered a 10oz filet mignon since the waiter said that steaks were what they are known for. To be honest, it was just okay. There wasn’t anything special about it, and nothing notable about the taste, flavor or seasoning. My wife ordered the vodka rose pasta, and that was actually much better. The portion sizes were modest. For sides, we tried the truffle and Parmesan fries and the Mac and cheese. The fries were excellent and the truffle was great. The Mac and cheese was decent, but too much cheese and not enough pasta. Overall, we did enjoy the ambiance and environment. It was more relaxed yet upscale. In general, we’re glad we tried it out, but likely won’t be visiting regularly - probably more so on special occasions.

So the food just wasn't worth the price. It was ok, but not even good. The waiter and rest of the staff was amazing. It's a great atmosphere, but we were definitely disappointed. I got the Bolognese and the wife got the vodka penne.
The appetizer rolls were really good, but the entrees were just not.

Absolutely amazing place! The display case with aging cuts of meat when you walk in captured my attention right away. Very interesting to see! As we made our way around the corner toward the bar, I couldn't help but notice the massive wine selection along the side wall. Absolutely impressive, huge variety of bottled from all over the world! Made our way to the bar and we were immediately greeted by Megan, who was very helpful in deciding what drinks to choose. She was also great about answering all kinds of questions we had about the drinks and their preparations! My friend and I shared a dish that was recommended by another bartender, the shrimp fra diavolo, which was delicious. Fresh pasta and bold flavors! We ended up having great conversations with all four bartender working that night, and each one was friendly, professional and willing to answer the many questions this Massachusetts girl had for them! I very much look forward to going back on my next trip down.
