Had the pulled pork nachos, terrible cheese sauce cold, and about 3 pieces of pork on top.
Sent them back, never again!

I’m impressed by the quality of the food, and the helpfulness of the staff. I recommend this restaurant for small gatherings of friends and family members.

We have had the salmon twice now. It was very nicely prepared and delicious both times. The service was good and the restaurant has a nice, fun atmosphere, located in the attractive Disneyesque village of Waterside. It was fun to walk around the village after eating, completing the enjoyable experience.

My wife and I absolutely love this place — it’s hands down our favorite local bar and weekend go-to. Even our dog CA$H is obsessed! No joke, when we take him for walks, he’ll pull us straight there. The whole staff treats us like family, and they always greet CA$H with water and his own dog bowl (sometimes even with a little bacon when we order it for him).

One of the standout highlights used to be the strawberry shortcake waffles — easily the best we’ve ever had anywhere. So, after being out of town for three weeks, the very first thing I did when I got back was walk over and order a double with my favorite bartender, Dominic.

That’s when I found out they took it off the menu. 💔
Dominic had to break the news, and I know it hurt him too. It was that good.

That said, we’re not going anywhere. The entire team — bartenders, managers, wait staff — are always incredibly friendly and welcoming. The vibe, the people, and the love they show our dog make it feel like home.

We’ll definitely be back this weekend (probably both days as usual) for brunch. The French toast is a solid substitute — really good — but it’s just not the same. We’re hoping maybe the waffles can make a comeback as a special sometime soon!

I need to compliment the staff and food here. Excellent establishment. I do however have a critique that has nothing to do with the fabulous food or servers. The door to the outside patio needs to be automatic. Sitting outside and watching the hardworking staff navigate this heavy door with hands full of food and empty plates is painful. They are working very hard and deserve better. Management/owners take note.

If you’re anywhere near Lakewood Ranch or the Waterside area and love craft beer, run—don’t walk—to Good Liquid Brewing. The beer is fantastic, the vibe is relaxed and welcoming, but what really makes this place special is Dom.

Dom is, hands down, the best bartender I’ve ever come across. He somehow always knows exactly what I’ll love—even when I don’t. Whether you’re into IPAs, stouts, or something crisp and easy-drinking, Dom will steer you right every single time. And the best part? He remembers you. Your name, your usual, how your week’s going—it’s like catching up with an old friend every time you visit.

As someone who's brewery-hopped all over Sarasota County, I can honestly say the customer service here is on another level. Dom explains the beers in a way that’s super approachable—zero beer snob energy, just someone who really knows his stuff and wants you to enjoy it too.

The Waterside location is perfect for grabbing a post-work drink or meeting up with friends on the weekend. They’ve always got a rotating selection of seasonal brews, and Dom somehow knows the story behind every single one.

Bottom line: If you’re in the Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota, or Bradenton area and looking for an unforgettable craft beer experience, this is it. Ask for Dom. You’ll be glad you did.

Amazing spot, sure it’s in a strip mall, but they have awesome games and beer garden action in the middle of their area, pool hall next door. Giant beer pong, awesome sours and food. If you don’t like their food, hit up one of the several restaurants surrounding the brewery. I keep saying “this is the best juice I’ve ever had” but it’s not juice....it’s beer. I wish this place was in my neighborhood.

I'm writing this review because my daughter vomited 10 mins after eating a hot dog we didn't even make it to the car. Luckily we made it to the outside bathroom near the playground.. We called to inform them of the incident to let them know that there is something wrong with their hot dogs for other family's in case. All they said was sorry. No let me tell my manager to talk to you or nothing. The convo was very unsympathetic. My daughter is only 5. I thought I had to take her to the hospital....Idk why this place was rated so high the server took 20 mins to get our drink order as well. Very disappointed in this place. Poorly ran.

The food is good. The Haymaker burger was delicious. Our server Brandon was great. He was very professional and attractive. We sat outside and had a great water view. The key lime pie was not good. It was a chalky round cheesecake like mess. If you like a different type of menu and good beer, check this place out.

Beyond expensive food that’s mediocre, either burnt or over cooked. Food takes about an hour+ to get to you. Disappointing to say the least.

Chicken in my sandwich was chewy, got stuck in my teeth, couldn’t rip it apart. Fries were not fresh at all even after paying extra for truffle.

Sad as the location is great.

Stirfry is definitely the way to go, had some great spice to it (not too much).
Bolognese was good.
Service was good. But last time Thalita was great, we were in a rush and she got is in and out quickly ?

We have been here many times before but this last Sunday was one of the best! The food was great and fast but best of all was our waitress. She was the most attentive and personable server we have ever had! She handled my son’s difficult order of substitutions like a champ with a smile on her face! She made the experience really great for our party of 8! Ask for Chloe! You won’t be disappointed if you want a great experience!!
