Haven't been here in awhile,& was here the other day. The outside patio is great when it's not hot out. I got my usual. Scrambled tofu with grits,& biscuit. My grits were crunchy on top, the waitress got me another order,& all was well. I did notice the prices went up,& they weren't cheap before. 16 bucks for my breakfast.

We've eaten there many times and the food is always delicious. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is clean. They are open for breakfast and lunch and are a very good restaurant!

Excellent food. Excellent atmosphere except for the wait staff who seem to be dressed for a run with athletic shirts.
I was there for breakfast and got the tofu scramble. The main food was good but I got 4 slices of toast too with out any butter or kind of direction of what to do with them, my food wasn't runny or anything, so just kinda a weird addition.
My friend's french toast looked amazing, lots of fruit and whipped cream.

Parking is interesting, it's paid in the lot across the street, or free in the adjacent deck when you bring your receipt from the restaurant. And also lots of stairs to walk up and down if you're not able to get through the security door behind someone on level 3 to catch the lift down.

No soy milk, but they have almond or oat milk.

Bathroom is a pain to get to.
You have to leave the restaurant, go into the office building, find the bathroom is locked and realize you need a code to get into it. Then you have to go back to the restaurant, ask the server what the code is, and she'll tell you 1410, so then you leave the restaurant again, go back to the bathroom armed with the code, reach to type it in when the door magically opens... just to realize there's a lady coming out of it and if you had just waited 20 seconds, you wouldn't have needed the code, but then again, you think to yourself that there's no way to have known the lady would have come out....
Then you think back to this post and chuckle to yourself thinking of the irony and inception of it all. 😉

For what it’s worth, I’m disappointed the pot pie was discontinued. I always came just for that :(

I got the eggs Benedict, and the eggs were way overcooked. So I make better at home. The service was really slow. We were in at 2 o’clock and didn’t get out until after three, the table had crackers on the seats and under the table, food server never cleaned anything up it was not a good day for them. I asked for a latte with oat milk and I’m pretty sure she put regular milk in it because I was miserable the rest of the day!

Overall the food was good. The service was fast and accurate and she seemed very genuine. Parking is a bit of an issue. You can park across the street in a city lot and pay a fee. Street parking is available as well as a parking garage. You may have to walk a little. The staff should be dressed more appropriate for a downtown setting. Several staff members looked like they rolled out of bed. The seating is very tight. If you need to use a bathroom it is in the lobby adjacent to the entrance of Sage, you will also need a four digit code to get into the restroom. I enjoyed a vegetable omelet with fruit and a side of sausage. The server kept my coffee and water full. The food came out quick and it was easy to pay when we were ready to leave. The patio was full of guests and the hosts did a good job greeting and seating us.

Had a lot of homemade options for brunch, brunch was until 3:00pm. Totally delicious. Got the Sage Biscuit with crab cakes. Potatoes and eggs Benedict with crab so good! Would recommend for brunch because they have a large menu of breakfast brunch options, one of the largest ive seen, with something for everyone.

I’m visiting Bradenton and thought I’d give this place a try and I wish I never did. The food is not made with love. I ordered the farmers skillet and it came out very dry and needed more. I had to ask for salsa which was watery. I also ordered a crab cake that came very flat and full of filling. The crab cake also had somewhat of a lemon zest. I asked our waitress if we could return the crab after taking a bite and she said she’d ask the manager. Instead of the manager coming to address the issue, she sent our waitress back to deny my request and told her “there’s nothing wrong with the crab cake” as if she’s the one eating it??? Long story short, very unprofessional, very bland food, and horrible management.
