Excellent location with outstanding employees! It's rare these days to encounter friendly, helpful people behind the counter of a casual eatery, so great job to this particular location! Previously, I had a truly awful experience at a different TJFlats, but this location turned it around and made up for it! THANK YOU for being great!!!

Went into Tijuana Flats at approx 6pm on 8/30/2025, and waited at the counter for 5 mins as we hear them talking in the back about stuff...we walked out and went elsewhere. Food is great but service really is a 1 star if that. We will go to the Tijuana Flats in St.Petersburg even know we live around the corner from this one.

Fun decor and food as expected for Tex Mex. I am from Colorado/ New Mexico area and that is a different type of Mexican food. But very much enjoyed what I ordered which was just appetizer type food. I will go back to try other things.

The service was not friendly & helpful. Every question we asked we were told they didn't have a button for that so we would have to pay extra. Apparently they can no longer do substitutions. A small dip cup of salsa was $2! Not worth the negative energy or prices & the food was under cooked.

Usually not a bad place, but my last experience was sub par food wise. If you like finding Avocado skin in your guacamole then this is it. Not to mention the salsa tasted sweet...like Italian pasta sauce...it needed salt and onion desperately. Hopefully next visit is better.

Food is good but they don’t know how to make their minds up on the strawberry lemonade one time it’s a large the next time it’s a tiny cup then a large one again now back to the tiny cup for almost $4 then when I went to open my food I had ordered extra sour cream add refried beans there was no sour cream and they put more refried beans and hardly meat
