I have gone here for a very long time and I don’t normally leave reviews but Wow. I ordered tacos at 1pm today and my 1st order was canceled after 3 different drivers had it and I’m currently waiting on my second order. I ordered my food through their app so you would have thought there would be a little more quality. But ya this will probably be my last time. I didn’t know I had to wait 3 hrs for tacos 🙄

Went into Tijuana Flats at approx 6pm on 8/30/2025, and waited at the counter for 5 mins as we hear them talking in the back about stuff...we walked out and went elsewhere. Food is great but service really is a 1 star if that. We will go to the Tijuana Flats in St.Petersburg even know we live around the corner from this one.
Fun decor and food as expected for Tex Mex. I am from Colorado/ New Mexico area and that is a different type of Mexican food. But very much enjoyed what I ordered which was just appetizer type food. I will go back to try other things.

The service was not friendly & helpful. Every question we asked we were told they didn't have a button for that so we would have to pay extra. Apparently they can no longer do substitutions. A small dip cup of salsa was $2! Not worth the negative energy or prices & the food was under cooked.

Usually not a bad place, but my last experience was sub par food wise. If you like finding Avocado skin in your guacamole then this is it. Not to mention the salsa tasted sweet...like Italian pasta sauce...it needed salt and onion desperately. Hopefully next visit is better.
