This incident isn’t even about a bartender that was working that night, it’s about a bartender that works at the establishment that was off the clock and sitting at the bar. Last night, my group of friends and I were leaving. A few of the men were waiting by the men’s room. Meghan, who is a bartender at this Tommyknockers’s location, was sitting at the bar and when she told them to leave, she looked at my black friend and said get out N word, with the hard ER. Then proceeded to say that it’s OK that she says that because her husband is black. She wasn’t working that night, she was just sitting at the bar as a patron, but it is somewhere that she does clock into and to make a blatant racist comment is not OK for anyone to do, but especially not someone who works there.
Further edit, it was at this location, and Josh was the bartender. And once she dropped the racist comment she wasn’t asked to leave and then came up and said that was okay because her husband is black. This photo was taken 1/14/26 and a Meghan is listed as a bartender. I got the right location and person.

Chase the bartender is awesome. Karaoke is amazing. If you like to sing, drink l, and have a good time either by yourself or with friends; this is the place to go. Ricky the Karaoke dj is awesome. If he doesnt have the song you want to sing, he will download it for you.

I'm going there for I don't know how long. Great drink special on a Wednesday. Music's always good people are always enjoying themselves. Just the cleanliness of the bar, floors etc. need to be cleaned. And maybe some type of ventilation for the cigarette smoke. And if you're hungry, there's always a good restaurant next door. I have lived here for 10 years...Christine is the abs6BEST bartender ever!!!
Karaoke and pool tables. Who could ask for more? The DJ there is really great. I have been there many times. It's a safe place to go out late. Bartenders are very attentive.

If you can overlook the cigarette smoke. This bar offers awesome karaoke and Bingo events. They also have 3 or 4 Valley pool tables. There's always groups waiting to play on the pool tables. I believe that Sunday afternoons, they offer free pool.

Another old school Bradenton local Bar. They allow smoking inside. The lighting is bad, its very dark inside, should be a little brighter. Fits in the category of dive bar. Some talent behind the bar. Pool tables. Full liquor and several draft beers.
