I was looking for a place where I could step back in time and enjoy a little peace and privacy, and this donut shop was exactly that. The old building and simple setup gave it such a nostalgic feel. I grabbed a seat at the bar, enjoyed the best apple fritter and a croissant breakfast sandwich with a smooth cup of coffee, and even ended up chatting with a sweet senior couple. It was such a relaxing, genuine experience. I’ll definitely be back.

The best fresh donuts around, i find their apple fritters to be perfectly done. There are usually a few homeless people pandering in the parking lot other than that a great little shop.

I ordered a bagel with egg and cheese. Lettuce and tomato.
And had a cup of coffee with one free refill.
*Egg and cheese bagel $3.25
*Coffee ( 1 refill dine-in only) $ 1.90
Total on a receipt $8.19
Tax would be roughly .49 cents.
So ... .$2.55 for iceberg, lettuce and a tomatoe?
Receipt was not itemized. Nowhere on the menu, stating how much tomato and lettuce is.
Young female waitress was nice. good quiet atmosphere.
Just disappointed in the deception.
It would have been cheaper just to get extra cheese and extra egg ( $1.60 according to menu)nstead of the lettuce and tomato. 😒
Supposedly, this place is famous for their donuts. A while back, I had one of their donuts, and it was just that a donut. I wouldn't say they were spectacular.
I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESS.....instead of going to Dunkin' Donuts.
BUT IF YOU EVER HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO AN ACTUAL BRICK AND MORTAR STORE CALLED KRISPY KREMES ( with factory attached) I RECOMMEND THAT HANDS DOWN ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE.

Stopped in early Monday morning to pickup a couple of donuts. I got an apple fritter for my coworker and a French cruller and an orange donut. I didn’t get a pic of the fritter but I was told it was delicious. My orange was great and cruller was ate the next day and it was just ok but it was a day old at that point. I’ve had better donuts in Alaska but these are not bad at all. The big question is will I go back? Yes I would but just don’t eat donuts very often.

Phenomenal apple fritters! Custard filled long John was empty, no custard. Cinnamon twist was ok.
Great coffee and atmosphere.

Awesome little donut shop downtown Bradenton. Top notch yeast and cake donuts and, even with inflation, their prices are great. With mass production the norm these days sacrificing taste and quality, it's nice to see a small shot that focuses on quality. I bring in to the office frequently and the staff devours thrm.
Went in for my moms birthday donuts and the lady had an attitude about having to go to the back to get different donuts for me so I was going to tip her but when I paid she never gave me an option to tip on the screen (I don’t have cash on me) she also kept my receipt..?? And so as I’m turning to leave she mutters to the other employees “and she didn’t even tip” ya girl and I sure as hell won’t next time either now.

Very authentic place. The exact opposite of corporate owned horror. This place has culture. The service is awesome and the donuts are seriously incredible. They don’t put cereal on the donuts or any of that ludicrous stuff they just perfect the classics.

Great! I wish they were part of a delivery service - we would order them a lot for our office. Most of us work on the opposite side of the bridge, but anytime we are down there, we will stop and get enough for the whole office. The best donuts around for sure

I went to my friend’s family’s Donut Shop called #turnersdonuts in Bradenton today. I have to admit, the freshest donuts in town. I didn’t forget how delicious those breakfast sandwiches are. Also, fast service. And I am meaning way faster and better than the fast food restaurants in town. I would definably come back.

I don’t understand why one of the ladies called me stupid as I was walking out. I wasn’t rude or anything and I’m always down to support small businesses . I just had troubles with my card. I find this very unprofessional and will not be returning 😞
