Cool spot, food is GOOD! The bagels tasted fresh abd y he breakfast options are good! Only thing is you get asked to tip although you order at the counter, pick up your food and throw your own trash away, what's the tip for? The employees are friendly so this is not a knock on them, maybe on the business. Also, nice that they have outdoor seating, but tables were filthy. Overall though, good food and friendly service.

Expensive! And for the price it's insane how often they screw up orders. I even tried to pont it that they rung up the wrong thing and both the woman and man working said it was right, and I would get two of the same bagel. SURPRISE! They biffed it.
Making a mistake is one thing but refusing to acknowledge it, doubling down and STILL getting it wrong is wild.
If I wanted overpriced food and bad service I would go to Starbucks.

Every time I order delivery from here they never send me the right breakfast sandwich. They also tell me in person that they have 1 size latte but when I order online I can get a large size sent to me. I like the bagels though, never anything wrong with the bagels.

Ordered a breakfast item to go a 9:05 am. At 9:40am I left without my food. In the 35 minutes I was patiently waiting for my food, I watched multiple customers become agitated because of the disorganized employee they had organizing take out orders. She was rude to everyone inquiring about their order because the excessively long wait time. Maybe their food is good, but their service and attitude was poor.

Might want to answer your phone once in a while. Pretty sick of driving down there and you guys are sold out of the items I would like.

I Love their salads, but the waitress the older lady is very rude. Every time I’ve come in and picked up my food. She’s very rude and she needs a reality check I don’t understand why she has to be this rude. I don’t know if she doesn’t like African-American people or what but each time I’ve been in there and I’ve ordered their salads several times and each time I’ve been encountered her. She has been very rude.

Its a shame when restaurants loose quality and care. Ive given this place multiple chances and still they come up short. Lets first talk about there undercooked bacon that i have specifically asked to be crispy and atleast edible. Now lets talk about the photo attached. At what point is this acceptable to put out. The photo below is an accurate description of what Uncle Nicks has turned into. Uncaring uncooked and not what they used to be. What a shame. Will not be going back. Can get a better put together breakfast sandwich from McDonalds for a quarter of the price. Btw this bagel cost me $10

Well uncle nick your bagels aren’t half bad!! Good little store that was busy every time I went in during the week!! The bagels were nice and consistent but not mind blowing. The service however was top notch. Will 100% be coming back!! The schmear look very good too!!

Make sure if you get a To Go order (especially a call in) or DoorDash order that everything is made right and in the bag especially before they close at 1:30!!! For some reason, orders get screwed up even when entered in correctly. This has happened to me twice within 2 weeks. The first time I was able to go back and have it remade and today, my sandwich was wrong and of course I tried to call and message and they had already closed. Not happy!! Avoid if you can. There’s a dunkin right down the road and McDonald’s breakfast is just about the same if not cheaper!

They have a nice variety of bagels, including Whole Wheat, but they don’t have whole wheat everything.

The food is great don’t get me wrong but the customer service is horrible to be honest and I wouldn’t say everyone’s is but every time I go in there there is this one girl who just is always rude and today was my last straw I was look at a menu in the counter and she just snatched it from me and I looked up and she just stared as if I was wrong for looking at the menu .. I’m sorry but it truly just makes me not want to visit while this girl is working and she’s there every time I go .

Fresh and tasty bagels. I had the spinach/Swiss bagel and everything bagel with eggs, both were great.
The bagels are the best in the area. Baked in the back of the deli, they are very close to a NY/NJ bagel. Great texture and taste. The Black Russian, which is pumpernickel covered with sesame, is outstanding. There is a good selection of bagels and breads.
The deli on Cortez offers breakfast and lunch. Uncle Nick’s has a stand at the farmers market in Lakewood Ranch on Sundays between 10 and 2.
Highly recommended.
