Id really like to know where people have eaten to compare to eating here
Im from brooklyn, Italian. Also a chef.
Tried the vodka parm. It had zero salt, no flavor, it was pitiful. The roll was nice but other than that it was crap
Pizza. Dry, little sauce, no flavor
Wings, skimpy and boring
Not authentic, just basic and someone that came from the tri state area thinking they can do it. Youre not

THEY RUINED IT! WHY? Every review you read before this one was for a nice neighborhood place we loved to go to for a late lunch. Totally unassuming but a gem for a nearby good nosh. They have NEW OWNERS, re-opened and they have RUINED it! For no apparent reason they took out the booths. For no reason they replaced wonderful sandwiches with lousy bar food. You can’t get a slice of pizza anymore. Like, why? It was a nice pizza place with great NY sandwiches. I ordered a sandwich (now it’s cold packaged bread, awful by their old standards) and asked for mustard and mayo. No mustard and mayo? Are they even thinking about serving customers? The NEW OWNERS have ruined it. It feels like a slap in the face. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. I feel sad for the servers who were just great in the past. Take your business anywhere else. Tell your friends not to go here!

The 3 meatballs in marina sauce are good. We ordered them 4x now. Have them put the pasta on side dish so when you get it home it's somewhat al dente when you go to re-heat it for dinner.
Food was just terrible. My chicken piccata was not flavorful and the piece of chicken looked tenderized and minuscule. For the price 23$ should have been a nice piece of chicken. Also, they don’t even make their own pasta. So this is spaghetti from a box for $23 with some capers definitely not worth the price. Won’t be back!

Pizza looks perfect. Does not flop. Good char. Unfortunately that's about it. The dough is hard. The crust is hard. No chew to it. It just snaps. The sauce has little to no flavor. Very bland. The cheese is not good at all. Just flavorless all around.
I’ve been here a number of times, mainly carryout.
Generally good experiences, today wasn’t so much because I felt skimped out on sauce and toppings. There are other reviews on here indicating the same issue so it does seem to be a common theme. I had ordered sort a Bella with pepperoni, and it was incredible dry, one slice had about a dimes worth of sauce on most slices. Goes needless to say: every pizza, especially your specialty pizza, should have all the toppings on each individual slice. We also ordered a supreme pizza which it feels like the toppings were barely sprinkled on.
This is one of the better spots in this neighborhood. The ingredients taste fresh, the bake is great, but it’s hard to justify $50 for two pizzas at a place that is a bit inconsistent.

The food was good. It was pricey.
If you are in the mood for a nice bowl of soup, their house soup is amazing.

Had a calzone here recently that was terrible. whoever made it didn't spend any time spreading the ingredients around. The first six bites were nothing but milky ricotta, which tasted low quality and overpowered the calzone. I finally found a few pieces of pepperoni up against the crust edge with some melted cheese. If you want a 90% ricotta calzone got for it, I'll pass. The wings i ordered were a good flavor but were soggy by the time I got them home (approx 10 min) I ended up throwing out nearly half my meal.

We arrived at 4:30 on Friday the 8th of November 2024.. We were greeted by Precious and she was a delight to talk to. I ordered my Stella and wife got a Sprite. At this time we were the only customers. I ordered the Carne on thin crust and wife ordered the White sauce pizza with Arugula on thin crust. They have a window for outside pick up which was cool. We received bread and it was warm and very delicious. Two women came in and asked them if they were regulars here and they said they try to be. They said they love Vacci’s pizza. Our pizzas arrived very hot and looked great. I cut a piece and when I held it to see if it was soggy from too much grease from the meats it was firm. The first bite was not a disappointment at all. The cheese was fresh and stringy, it was great. The sauce was light and had great taste and it wasn’t too sweet. The meats were fresh tasting with great flavor. The crust had nice bubbles that had a nice char on it. Even as I got to my 4th piece the crust was still nice and firm. My wife said here pizza was fantastic. I rate every pizza to the best pizza made and that’s at Moose’s Tooth Pizza in Anchorage Alaska. Again my standard is set high and Vacci did not disappoint me at all. This place has fantastic pizza and Precious was great. They had a lot of orders to go starting around 5pm. More people arrived and they looked happy. Now the real question is will we go back? Hell yes, this place holds it’s on for a great pizza. We spent $64 on 2 pizzas with a beer and a drink. Precious did a great job. Tell Precious hi from The Alaskans. This is a 4.75 star place

An honest reasonable review so read carefully. Ok, so, I hate to do this BUT.... I've been ordering from here for sometime now(through Uber Eats) and this time around I've gotta say the toppings that are "premium" are anything but that. I ordered a large cheese with grilled chicken and arugula. The grilled chicken that was sprinkled on doesn't even equate to half a chicken breast so basically each slice has little chunks of about 3 to 4 pieces. HUGE disappointment for us considering we KNOW about the quality of a great slice( from NYC born and bred) and for the money these toppings cost it is absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, the grandma pie ordered last time was a bit flavorless or lacking if you will. Usually this type of pie brings us back to our Staten Island days and the great pizza makers that once were but it was lacking. Again, a pie that was frequently ordered. Not sure what is going on in that kitchen, perhaps a new hire not sure of the love that goes into making a great slice? ...OR...maybe you guys are getting to popular and trying to keep up with demand?, whatever it is it's gotta change and change quick. I will try again with another order in the near future but if it's even worse than it has been since these last two orders we will have to move on unfortunately. Otherwise than that, if you aren't from the NYC area and like pizza then it's for you, but if you crave authenticity of a great Italian American slice beit from the Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, or Jersey to name a few, then buyer beware. I'll update dependant on the next order.
