It's a good store for something basic. The best department is Meat and Bakery. Both departments want to help and usually have a good variety and sales. The rest of the store, you have to check the dates to make sure they aren't expired. Customer Service is just bad, and I don't see good people skills. Cashiers don't seem happy to be there. You can tell you're definitely not at Publix.

So happy I downloaded the app to get the coupons and the points. Skip the crowd at Publix and hit up Winn-Dixie, it's definitely worth the few minutes down the way. Thanks to the staff at Winn-Dixie off St. Rt 70 in Lakewood Ranch. Preciate y'all! ?

I had never been to this Winn-Dixie location. I was in the area leaving a doctor's appointment around the corner at intercoastalmedical. So I went into the Winn-Dixie. I noticed they had a self checkout. noticed two employees standing by us. I'll check out. went walked around the store. retrieved my item but also noticing those two employees were looking at me. So I went to some checkout. One of the employees immediately started talking to me. asking if I had a rewards card. which of course I did. I was pulling it up on my app so I can use the mystery bonus but she kept study telling me I could just put my phone number in. And I had to explain to her. I'm trying to do the bonus. So then I start scanning my items, all the while this employees standing there talking to me about the rewards program that I'm obviously familiar with. with. She just kept talking as I'm scanning and I got distracted by her talking that I went to scan and item and it didn't scan and I put it into my bag and then she came back at me asking had I scanned the item. So I looked at the screen and I said Oh no it didn't scan so then I scanned it. put it in a bag. paid for my items and told her to have a good day and walked out. as I was walking out. that's when I realized she wasn't having casual conversation with me. she was just watching to make sure I scanned all my items. as a professional black woman, a social worker, a master's level social worker, I found this offensive. Winn-Dixie you need to give your employees some cultural diversity training. And I shall never visit that store again. never had that experience and all my life of living and manatee Sarasota county.

The cleanest Winn Dixie I’ve ever been in but over the worst selections. Also could you please not come up and ask me if I have rewards at checkout? I use self checkout because I don’t want to talk to people while I’m shopping.

Happy they have the big chocolate chip cookie it did go up from 99 cents to 1.49 also did get a coupon for 50 cents off they have good cookies they even have a 5 pack at this store but it 7.49 so not really saving any money

For starters I Don't like Winn-Dixies stores...every time I have to go there for an emergency buy, I regret it.....but THIS ONE is the exception. Clean, friendly, meat and fresh produce really fresh!!!! Prices r good and the deli doesn't look like nobody cares ...it's good smells great loved the stuff there. A good surprise! I ll keep going for sure
Had the magnificent 7 birthday breakfast and my husband got the build your own breakfast with sticky roll. It was all delicious. The managers and servers were attendant and very nice..

Isles were narrow to pass other customers. Chicken wings tasted old and dry. At $8.99 a pound they should be fresh made and tasty.

Currently I just did my first shopping trip here. A lot of vegan options. Thank you , I really appreciate it. Some of the aisles are a little narrow on the downside. Awesome service from the upbeat Melody.
