Everything was great except for our waitress... She basically didn't understand us to well so it was difficult ordering.. My cousin ordered her fried rice with no onions and the entire meal came out with no vegs...they had to add the veggies on the side..I asked for a roll to come out with the rest of our appetizers and she refused to serve the roll until the food came out.. it was a strange experience but the food tasted good, just average. The cocktails were bomb!

Such great food and reasonably priced. I’ve been coming here for almost 4 years. My fiance and I always come for our anniversary (it’s where we went for our first date) definitely a great date spot. will post about the Korean BBQ they offer as well, it’s delicious and they have an AYCE option. For this time, got the any 3 roll lunch special, an add on miso soup, pork belly appetizer (would ask for that more well done if you want it a little crispier but flavor was amazing) and a soda all for under $30. Had a very nice waiter named Tiger, food came out quick and delicious!!!
Tried Yaki sushi for the first time. Food was great and the service was ok. However when asked for the bill the restaurant decided to automatically add a 25% tip which was a turn off. I understand if we were a large party but we were just a party of 2. I asked for the tip charge to be removed and to leave that option for me decide how much to tip.

Absolutely our favorite Sushi Restaurant in Sarasota area! All I have to do is say “Yaki” and hubby is starting up the car. Delicious, fresh tasting sushi, hand rolls, soups, and appetizers! Sushi chefs are pros, waitstaff is always friendly and efficient. Ann is a wonderful, gracious manager. 5 stars for sure!

Anne was our server and she was very nice and took good care of us. She even brought a little dessert to the table next to us to celebrate a birthday. Since this restaurant specializes in do it yourself grilled food every table is equipped with an internal stove but the big metal box under the table is in the way if you have long legs or sit in the middle. If you're seated at a booth you're at least a foot away from the edge of the table and there is no way to sit closer so be careful because food will land in your lap before it reaches your mouth. Sushi was fresh and tasty. Clear soup was good. The salad felt like it was taken straight from the frig and was extra watery. Green tea is not complimentary, it costs $3 per person.

quiet atmosphere, very nice staff and great food for a fair price. we got one of the boats for 2 and it was so much food, we ended up taking half of it home. our server was very friendly and tentative and we will definitely be coming back. they have sushi, hibachi and korean bbq.

This is easily some of the best tempura I’ve ever had. The sushi was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. Highly recommend coming during lunch for the specials! You won’t want to leave a single bite.
