Hugo was great! Good humor and tried his best!!! And a Very sweet employee took our picture as it was a celebration. Buttttttt.......They are very short staffed. The manager needs to make rounds, make sure everyone is good, make sure employees are engaged and polished. Building needs attention and landscaping too. Floors are slippery and tables, menus and drink menus unclean. Food was decent and timely to our table.
We arrived at 7 o'clock promptly they took us right in sat down, took our drink orders bought out the drinks within five minutes took our appetizer order. Bought those out within five minutes. Then we waited from 7:10 PM to 8:05 PM for our soup or two soups, and one salad to arrive, there was one other table occupied in the entire building. We bought it to the managers attention and asked for a check because we were leaving and we were charged accordingly for the one appetizer and three drinks one salad and two soups $54 as we left our server told us I hope that you get your food faster at the next place, in a condescending voice the manager heard it and stated she would address it. I would never go there again.

One of a kind! The food is sooo good and fresh! Definitely go before 6pm, drinks are only $4! I have nothing bad to say about this place! The lobster dip was great! Jumbo shrimp we cooked at our table. House salad, freshhhh! Clam chowder fresh and creamy! Ribs were sweet and tender! Filet medalions cooked ourselves at the table and were so tender that it was softer than crab meat??!

Loved the concept of the black rock experience. It was a fun experience cooking my own steak. The pasta is great a I wish the tables were a little larger though because it can get crowded with all the dishes on the table.

Service was terrible for how empty it was, would not recommend. Server took over 15 minutes to get drinks, forgot condiments, and forgot one of our sides. Won't be coming back again.
Was set up for anniversary they did nothing for it as even to say happy anniversary and welcome. Very disappointed and service was not good as waitress was too busy to keep up still should of been in training.

Food was great! Waiter on the other hand...different story. Acted like he didn't want to be there, and was distracted by a female I assume was a girlfriend. He spent most of the time talking to her. We had to ask for drinks multiple times. One of the drinks I ordered was a plain twisted t draft. He brought me a 12.99 flavored twisted t. My fault for not saying anything. That being said, the food was great and we enjoyed it.

I tried to like Black Rock, but I never find anything I really enjoy, and then I always get a disappointing server. The server is always a restaurant's saving grace for me. Great service and welcoming me into the space makes my meal even better (even when I don't order the right thing).So, this time, I was ready and ready to try this place again. I asked for recommendations, and the server provided none. I ordered the vegetable stir fry. I was thinking it would come out on the hot grill block, and that is what I was told. But what I received was this wet, salty, and sweet group of veggies on over cooked rice. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, but that sauce - oh my, it was horrible.I had some of my husband's steak. It wasn't tasty either. I did love the sizzling grill/rock or whatever it is called. I think my vegetable stir fry would have been way better if it was served on that thing. ?Surprisingly, the lobster bisque wasn't too bad. And the salad was good.Vegetarian options: Please consider serving the vegetable stir fry on the hot rock. ?

Our server was friendly but was not great. Maybe he's new but our appetizer came out before my wine. We ordered the rib appetizer which was tasty and that was the on good thing about this place. We asked for side plates but my fiancé had to get up and get some from the bar. We ordered the chicken stir fry for dinner and it was trenched in sauce and has very little meat in it. Our server left every dirty plate at our table and didn't fill our empty waters until be brought the check.
Love coming to this place. The food is great and the service is great. This is my 3rd time coming and 2nd time getting the sticky ribs signature bbq, was sent out the wrong ones, they brought out the Asian chili sauce instead which is too spicy for me. I informed them of this and they corrected it, even confirmed my table and the table next to us got the wrong ones. Was brought out new ones but by the time they came out, our food was brought out so I took them home. Tried to eat them the next day and they were still the wrong flavor. So someone either made the wrong sauce or bottled the wrong sauce and put on the ribs. I will have to order them plain with the sauce on the side or no sauce at all if I want to get them again. The first time I had the signature bbq sauce, it was only sweet with no spiciness to them. I'm extremely sensitive to spicy food and I'm glad they were already comped or I would call the restaurant regarding it.

You cook your own steak. Yep, you cook it at your table. If you bring your kids, keep them far away from the oven hot black stone that will burn their fingers quick. Oh, and the heat and smoke from the butter you use to cook the steak will make your face sweat. The service is great and the ambiance is good...but if I want a steak I'm going to Longhorn.
