Cali Viejo is one of those places that instantly feels like home. The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by the kind of warmth and hospitality you only get from a true family-run restaurant. The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with love — and truly as authentic as you can get when it comes to Colombian cuisine.
The bakery next door is a must-visit too. So many pastries to choose from, and everything looks incredible. It’s hard not to walk out with a full bag.
The atmosphere is bright and inviting, and the artwork around the building is stunning. It gives the whole place so much personality.

We’ve been regular customers of this place for over 9 years, and it never disappoints! The food is always flavorful and freshly made. Alex, Pedro, and the rest of the team always make you feel welcome and appreciated. This time, we had the picadera for two, is a delicious feast of churrasco, ribs, chicken, chorizo, morcilla, tostones, yuca, and potatoes and we left completely satisfied. Consistently great food and excellent service every single time! They also have a bakery next to it so is a must stop after or before eating.

It had been 10 years since I revisited Cali Viejo which we fondly remember the amazing empanadas! My son and I decided on our last day visiting Florida that we would make this stop for Columbian breakfast!! OMG the food was so amazing, I had the Calentado Cali Viejo with 2 eggs over easy, grilled steak, pork sausage and large arepa with cheese. I added a Chicharron side to share. This was a ton of food, but I couldn't eat it fast enough! 😋 I have never been to Columbia but feel like I was transported there if only for a moment. This place is flatout spectacular 🙌

The service was terrible. We sat through our entire meal, including appetizers, without a single refill. I even asked for a glass of water that never came. For a small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant, the prices are way too high for the quality of food and poor service. Definitely not worth it, and I won’t be coming back. If I could give them a 0 I would.
