I had a terrible experience at the Checkers in Brandon. The staff was extremely unprofessional—several of them were cursing at customers and carrying themselves in a way that was completely inappropriate for a workplace, including sagging their pants. On top of that, the cleanliness and food handling were unacceptable. I witnessed employees touching food without changing gloves, which is a huge health and safety concern. This location clearly has no standards for customer service or sanitation, and I will not be returning.

Aug 17,2025 I took my daughter thru the drive through to get food and a young boy was working. He never said hi I gave us dirty looks the entire time. He was the most disrespectful person I ever met going through a drive thru. You need to hire people that actually want to work and are friendly to customers. I had asked for extra sauce and you would have thought It was the end of the world. These young kids today are so lazy and disrespectful to customers.

Ordered Uber Eats from this checkers location. Got our bag that was sealed and we were missing a whole meal. I called Uber Eats and after hours of the back and forth I finally got ahold of someone. Only to tell me to call the checkers and they will refund my missing items. So for the past two hours I have been calling Checkers and no answer.

I've always loved checkers for many reasons. Number one because of its convenience, you get simplicity plus great deals like the four for $4 for example. Plus I've always been a huge fan of their fries. I'm from Texas so when I Left Florida I was missing those fries because there are no Checker's in Texas. Only way to get their fries was from the grocery store and it didn't taste the same as at the restaurant.
