Hate to leave this franchisee or even corporate store a bad review but.. I had a bad experience last night. We came through the drive-through at 7:06 pm to order the famous fries and fries only because that's what we were excited about. We asked the girl if the fries could be made fresh if they weren't hot. She simply stated that the fries are always hot. When we got to the window we tried to make a joke with her about the fries and she didn't respond or flinch. It felt really rude like she was offended at the idea that fries wouldn't be hot. She handed us the bag while we continued to speak to her. The fries were warm but not hot which was fine. However, I guess the retaliation was to douse them in salt. The fries were so salty we couldn't eat them even after trying to use napkins to wipe it off. There was no way that was an accident. We had to throw them out. Now I wish we hadn't even asked for hot fries.

Tylicia was very pleasant and helpful and also enthusiastic when taking my order! I had an awesome experience at this Checkers location and anxiously look forward to my next visit! Oh yeah, and my food was very tasty and the temperature was perfect and served very swiftly!

I went to order two hamberger add onions, tomatoes and mayo. Order taker told me that it already had them. I said I know and asked to add the items. Then order taker who claimed to be the gm argued with me instead of placing my order. She literally said I am supposed to say extra instead of add. I got frustrated and told them to fly a kite. When I got to the window they refused to give me name of manager. I sat there and asked for gm name and they just said we are calling police. They never gave me name and called police cause I asked for extra mayo on a darn hamberger. Worse than poor service! I was on phone with the complaint line the whole time.

I had a terrible experience at the Checkers in Brandon. The staff was extremely unprofessional—several of them were cursing at customers and carrying themselves in a way that was completely inappropriate for a workplace, including sagging their pants. On top of that, the cleanliness and food handling were unacceptable. I witnessed employees touching food without changing gloves, which is a huge health and safety concern. This location clearly has no standards for customer service or sanitation, and I will not be returning.

Aug 17,2025 I took my daughter thru the drive through to get food and a young boy was working. He never said hi I gave us dirty looks the entire time. He was the most disrespectful person I ever met going through a drive thru. You need to hire people that actually want to work and are friendly to customers. I had asked for extra sauce and you would have thought It was the end of the world. These young kids today are so lazy and disrespectful to customers.
