Chick-N-Bones Cafe and Catering

Got a togo order and when I got home these were the plantains. The Cuban sandwich had all of the shredded pork in a line on one side of the bread and the other meat and cheese were all piled in one spot.

This was our first experience, but we ordered via DoorDash. Unfortunately, we had an issue with our order, but I was very impressed by the restaurant fixing the issue so quickly (when DoorDash would usually just give me a refund and let me starve). As for the food, we ordered 2 No Names, a dark meat platter and a Cuban (which I was super reluctant to order from a non-cuban restaurant). The No Names, while ridiculously boring, were ridiculously tasty! I'm sure they'd be even better if you add toppings, but the as is version was actually very good! The chicken legs/thighs from the platter were awesome, as were the plantains, but the mac and cheese was a letdown. It was grainy and bizarre to us. Not gross but not good and not what we expected. However, the Cuban sandwich...OMG. Order it. I'm a born and raised Tampa native who has been eating Cuban sandwiches since I could walk. This was one of the best, if not THE best I've ever had. My daughter and husband would agree seeing that they didn't want any yet stole half my sandwich. I'm very much looking forward to adding this place to our lazy day dinners when we need good and affordable food.

Really great pita sandwiches. Gyro was perfect. My wife had the chicken pita and loved it. Guys working there were super nice and fast. Nice chill place to sit and eat.

Delicious food that tastes like wholesome, home cooking! If you want a lot of food at an outstanding price definitely get one of the meals. It was only $10 for the chicken breast plate with two sides. Can’t beat it. Really recommend the Mac and cheese and rice and beans. The wraps are a smaller portion obviously but still great.

Great food and fast service

I was introduced to this restaurant some years back by a close family friend and back then the food and service was great but after my visit today I don't feel the same. I recommended this place to my fiance and agreed this would be the place we would be having dinner from tonight but after walking in i immediately notice the awful foul smell that was coming from this place sort of smelled like sewer waste and I walked to the counter to place my order and the young lady who was standing there at the register just stared at me and gave me a very unwelcoming look a if I should have never came inside the restaurant she didn't speak welcome me or acknowledged me a customer so I decided to be the bigger person and speak first and she still didn't say anything so I spoke and she then nonchalantly spoke back being sarcastic so I just decided I wasn't going to spend my money there because she came off as she were a racist so I lift and went to spend my $60 at a nice chinese restaurant who were very friendly and welcoming to their customers. I do not recommend this location for any people of color spend your money else where.

I absolutely love the food and the kitchen staff. They really make you feel like you're home. The Christian music creates a pleasant experience for everyone. The Mac N Cheese....THE ABSOLUTE BEST PERIOD !!!

Best place if you love chicken that is fresh and not pre-packaged. I get several chicken breasts at a time for meal prep and it's perfect!! Always delicious!

I’ve ordered three different things so far and they’ve all just been scrumptious. I am able to reach the Nethers of the chicken gods. Let me tell you their plantains are better than Spanish restaurant

Haven’t been here since like 2017/18 and mannnnn the consistency through and through is amazing. Very affordable prices and quality just as good as I remembered. A lot of places fell off after the pandemic but this place is still AMAZING.

Had the steak and cheese hoagie with mac and cheese which was very good. Also tried the fiesta wrap and that was delicious. Definitely will be back to try other menu items
