I ordered the Brisket and Rib meal. The brisket was very dry and the had very little meat on them. The sauce was decent but there is not salt or pepper on the table.

This was our first time dining here. The live music pulled us in, we wanted some atmosphere, but that turned out to be the best part of our dining experience. We sat at the bar, and while the bar tender was very nice & friendly, the selection of beers was lacking. My fiancé ordered the BBQ platter that came with 3 meats, I had the filet. It took a VERY long time for our meals to come out, and when they did, they were ice cold. My filet was extremely over cooked, which the bartender happily took back to have redone. Once it came out, it was cooked “medium” temperature, which I originally asked for, but it still just didn’t taste good. There was a strange oil type of flavor, maybe from the grill? I’d already finished my sides by the time it came, and my fiancé had finished his entree. His BBQ was also ice cold, and the chicken & pork were very dry, but he dealt with it. The only thing we really enjoyed was the chips &
Guacamole appetizer, and the collard greens. I didn’t ask for a manager, and one never came over to ask about our meal, or apologize for the filet. In the past at other restaurants, if something wasn’t made properly, they took it upon themselves to adjust the bill, but that didn’t happen here. Safe to say, we will never be back. This was an all around disappointing meal, and quite pricey for the lack of quality and customer service.

I eat at Brandon mall 3-4 times a week and have always been curious about Bricks. Reviews are all over the place, but have been very good recently. I had the 2 meat combo with fries(not sure why I did fries) baked beans, ribs , and brisket. The ribs and beans were amazing, ribs were so juicy and succulent, damn good rub and baked beans weee to die for, fries were good too. I was asked if I liked a fatty piece of brisket and said yes. The brisket was kind of dry, definitely didn’t seem like I got any fat on the brisket at all. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t amazing like the ribs, no juiciness to brisket.

I usually don't leave reviews, as a matter of fact I reckon this is my first one, but I felt obligated to share my experiences.

I hadn't been in a few months and my visit over this past weekend turned me off entirely. The staff all stand at the host area and seem completely dissociated, and generally just unhappy to be there. The service was okay but when our food came out, it was cold and bland, and my boyfriend never got his extra side of cornbread, the manager seemed to not understand why there was a problem at all, and even tried to give an excuse as to why things had been the way they were, no urgency at all, and the restaurant wasn't even busy!!!

The new managers are not doing a good job with this place at all, the man with the laptop and the one young lady are not doing this place any good and it's such a shame, because it is a beautiful location, I will likely not return as there is a plethora of other restaurants nearby and even in the same mall.

Overall 6/10. Portion sizes are laughable for the price. Flavors are okay but strange. One of those restaurants that takes a simple well known item and tries to “mAke iT TheiR oWn” by adding ingredients that don’t quite match. On top of it all the bar top hurts to look at it’s so terribly constructed. Why is there even wood in the middle.. none of it lines up.

I was initially welcomed by a bartender named Jackson, extremely pleasant. As I’m sitting there at the bar, I start to observe the “manager” Tony comes behind one of his bussers (Tim) and literally starts mocking/ making fun of everything he was saying as his back was turned. Making faces, pointing his fingers at the back of his head etc. After almost 2min of him doing this, I finally call him out and ask if he knew the man he was mocking. He starts stuttering, turns red and has a stupid smirk on his face saying yeah yeah he works for me, we’re cool. Blah blah trying to cover his ass. So when the busser turns around, I politely asked if he was friends with that man that was mocking him. You can tell he immediately becomes uncomfortable and says yes that’s my manager. Fast forward, I confront the situation for what it was. Unprofessional Tony goes “well I’m sorry if what I did bothered you”.

As I’m leaving, the busser stops me outside and basically says that’s how he’s constantly treated there and that “he always tries to be the bigger person”.

Seeing what I saw was enough to never come back again and every chance I can, I will tell everyone about this nasty ass experience.

We were so excited to try this place, the atmosphere looked nice and it smelt like good BBQ. We were beyond disappointed. Service was extremely slow, we ordered appetizers which took awhile and they came out before any of us even got our drinks. We had to flag down another waitress several times to help get refills on our drinks while our waitress sat and chatted with other colleagues and the stuck up so called "manager". The waitress was not friendly, the manager had the worst customer service I've ever experienced. One of our food orders got messed up and had to be re-made, which took so long the rest of us were done eating by the time they were able to remake it. No sincere apology or discount on the food item that was incorrect. I ordered bottomless mimosas and they were so slow at coming back to refill them I only had a few for the 2 hours we were there. When we had originally sat down at the table, we were the only ones in there and so being "busy" was not an excuse. Very disappointed, we will not be back and that manager should look into a different career path.

The wait really did not make any sense...we arrived at 2:45pm and didn't have dinner until 5pm. They had us wait about 20 minutes for a party of 6...not a big deal. I assumed they were understaffed because there were more empty tables than full. Then went back in after 10 minutes and asked if we could sit outside which they did seat us right away. We wanted a dinner menu and it was about 3:40pm. They said they can't give us a dinner menu until 4pm. Again, wasn't in a rush so we ordered drinks and an appetizer waiting on the dinner menu. It took awhile to get the appetizer which was chips and Queso..that was tasty and the drink I ordered off the non alcoholic menu was also good because I requested it with less sugar. We waited 45 minutes for our dinner to arrive. The ribs were tasty. The burgers were mediocre. The smoked wings were mediocre. The cornbread was yummy. Overall the entire wait was not worth it. I'm assuming they were understaffed. I really did not have an urgency to be anywhere, but the kids definitely got restless and the bithday girl started getting HANGRY...btw they dont sing happy birthday here, so if you are planning on them singing they will not do it here. They did offer to keep a cake that you bring cold if you bring one. Overall I have no interest in revisiting especially if the wait is that long and only a few things we ordered I considered good, but nothing that stood out or set them apart from other restaurants. Also, when there is a long wait, the wait staff should address it or at least keep the table updated.

Service was the worse I have ever experienced!
1) we ordered drinks, appetizer… drinks came out 10 mins after our appetizer (which was wings)
2) I had to wave and ask for drink refills from other waitresses while our waitress sat at a table chatting it up with the poor quality of a manager
3) after ordering and explaining to the waitress NO ONIONS, well I shouldn’t have been surprised when my burger came with onions! Again no drink refills on our bottomless mimosas (I had to ask a different waitress for refills)
4) I had to send my burger back (onions makes me sick) my whole party was finished and ready to leave by the time I got my burger back!
Finally I asked for a manager he was very unapologetic, seemed to not have cared, didn’t even try to discount the bill or the burger. Only thing he did was change the waitress…to sum it up, we will never be back

First we were welcomed by the host who was acting a bit strange. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We sat down and waited about 15 min and didn't receive any service. At this point we decided to leave. On the way out we run into a manager at the front desk who didn't seem apologetic at all. This sums up our poor experience

After waiting 15 mins & receiving no service, & no acknowledgement from waiting staff, we gave up and left. Handed the menus back to the manager & 4 staff idly waiting/ talking at the host desk. Not a word of apology or explanation.

went on a Friday at lunchtime for a holiday party that included eight people. There was probably 25 people in the restaurant, we ordered and got our food 35 minutes later. We sat and watched our food sit in the server window. Not one single meal was worthy of eating. Chicken tacos were dry, Coastal taco was more sour cream than anything. See picture. The Gouda and chicken Melt had shredded cheese on it that was definitely not melted and chicken was dry. Two of us got salad and neither one of them wanted to finished them. I ordered the brisket sandwich. I had two pieces of meat and most of it was fat and cold . The only thing that they had there that was worth anything was their french fries. Besides the food being horrible, the service was lack luster also. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.
