I'd like to start with a positive note. The waitress we had was decent while we were dining and this is not a reflection of her service. The food was mostly good with the exception of one meal( half chicken) in particular, which had to be sent back. ( overcooked dry chicken, cheese grits that looked like play dough) Unfortunately, when the meal was brought back out everyone else had finished eating and it had to be put into a to go box. When speaking with the management afterwards they offered no real solutions and were mostly argumentative. He even advised he saw the original meal in its sub par standard but didn't come over immediately to address it. Which makes little sense as the restuarant was 90% empty at the time of our meal. After going back and fourth about removing the meal, and even offering to still pay for half the meal. We gave the meal back so they would remove it in its entirety from the bill.In conclusion: when eating here hope your meal goes perfectly well, if not prepare to deal with an argumentive management that has no desire to keep your business or satisfy your needs as a customerWould not reccomend

The appetizers were good, the drinks were good however, I ordered the bar b que half chicken which came out dry and the grits were cold and stiff so I sent the order back. The replacement meal according to my waitress should have taken 8mins. 8mins turned into 30mins. My family was already done with three meal. I asked for the meal the be pack to go, Ibalso asked the manager the manager to either remover the cost of the meal or split the cost of the meal because I didn't get to eat with my family, his resolution was to comp the desert I had to order in an effort to eat . After I sent the original meal back, he said he say it , so he knew how bad it was, he never came out to the table to apologize nor offer any resolution, I had to ask for him. I ended up sending the meal back and

We sat at the bar when we visited on St Patricks day. We had cocktails, deviled eggs, and meals. Service was excellent. The deviled eggs were great. Highly recommend and we will visit again.

We’ve been twice, and both times the service was great and food was delicious! The deviled eggs are the best we’ve ever had. It’s quickly becoming one of our favorite places to eat.

We celebrated our Aunts 102nd birthday tonight.I can’t say enough about our server Kira! There was a bit of a hiccup with our reservations for 15 people and she stayed past her shift to take care of us. She did not miss a beat, and we had the best service we have experienced in some time. The food was great with so many options. We will definitely be back!!!

This was our first visit to Clasico Chop House. We ordered the brisket dinner and a turkey club sandwich. The food was better than delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the manager paid our table a visit to ensure our satisfaction. I am sure it will become our new favorite place!

I thought the food was great I ordered a New York Strip and I have no complaints. The steak was cooked to perfection and I ordered a side of Brussels sprouts that were not the best but the steak covers for them. The service was excellent and our food was served within 20 minutes of ordering. The atmosphere was also great it wasn’t too quiet but not too loud, they play music which adds a mood to the area. Overall I thought the restaurant was amazing and I recommend coming to look at buying food.

It's an Italian chophouse with a BBQ twist. There was a Chapter 11 Brew Pub that shared the same space when it first opened. I believe they kept the same menu, and rebranded it as the Taproom. Either way, I was happy to see that you can mix and match from both menus. We arrived for lunch on a weekday when it wasn't too busy. The service was great from beginning to end. It's a great atmosphere with beer taps and games along the taproom side. It looks like they have a karaoke room as well. The Chophouse side is tastefully decorated, yet unpretentious. There's comfortable booth seating and many tables set up for evening dining. It's an open kitchen layout. The menus have a lot to offer. We started with the Zucchini Frites that was served with a delicious aioli. It was a light & fresh appetizer that we enjoyed very much. The Skirt Steak was tender. The chimichurri was more an Italian version with capers. It was different and unusual. The broccolini was slightly overcooked, but it was seasoned well. Overall, everything was good.My husband really liked The USDA Prime Brisket, which comes with 2 sides and a jalapeño corn muffin. The mac & cheese was very cheesy. The brisket had a great smoke flavor, and it was very tender. I definitely want to try their Burnt Ends appetizer after trying that brisket. Their homemade BBQ sauce was also a big hit. The poblano slaw and muffin were both okay. I'd get this entrée for myself, but I'd get the street corn with the kickin collard greens for my sides in place of the slaw. We'll definitely return again. The prices are what you expect from a chophouse style restaurant. Just expect to pay a little more for the smokehouse meats. The brisket platter is their house specialty. Oh, and don't forget to ask for their BBQ sauce.

This was my 1st and only experience so far with Clasico Chophouse & Taproom. Unfortunately, it was not a great experience at all. When we decided to go try dinner there, I was truly excited and prepared for a wonderful dinner out. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We love the layout and all the different types of available seating arrangements. Their indoor and outdoor seating areas are comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The food, however, was a big letdown for me as well as the service. For our starter, we chose the deviled eggs, which were topped with burnt ends and candied jalapenos, and they were delicious. For my girlfriend's dinner, she had chosen the house sausage jalapeno and cheddar along with pablano coleslaw and sweet potato fries. Overall, she was happy with her dinner. She did say the pablano slaw was just okay.and all the food came out cold. For my dinner, I had chosen the St Louis ribs with the house rub with a side of sweet potato fries and Mac & Cheese. When I finally did get my food, all my sides came out cold. There was a hold-up with my food due to my 1st order of ribs being dropped when being plated in the kitchen. The manager did come out and apologize, which I truly appreciated. When everything made it out and I finally tasted the ribs I had been waiting for, and the ribs just tasted like straight black pepper. We had also ordered drinks, and both came out watery. Definitely was not worth the money. I think the cause of a lot of the cold food and watery drinks was due to a server simply not paying attention to us. It took forever for a server to take our order when we finally did get the order it took forever again. I don't think he was checking the window to see if our food was ready. Basically the whole time we were there we barely saw our server. We had noticed he was taking care of the other tables around us but not paying any attention to us. Due to the rib mishap, the manager said we would have dessert on him, which again we appreciated. The manager himself was fantastic. The manager had communicated to our server not to bill us for the dessert, and when it came time to billing, the dessert was on there. I handed our server my credit card with the incorrect bill and asked him to take it off the bill. He leaves my card on the table and then comes back with the new bill with the and instead of just grabbing my card to cash us out, he walked away. We had continued to wait for another 20-25 minutes with no server in sight to cash us out. My girlfriend ends up having to go to the bar, handing the bill to the bartender and manager to cash us out. Horrible service for what i expected from this great looking restaurant. A positive note is I am willing to go back and try this place again in the hope this was a 1 time issue. The manager again was fantastic and was very apologetic for the rib mishap and took concern when we had issues with the server cashing us out. Another reason I would try eating here again. Wish this review could of been more positive. ?

It’s an absolute beautiful restaurant but the service is unreal. Got seated right away we chose outside because of the cornhole. The waitress was nice but seemed very busy, all of my parties food was delivered at different times. It was very odd. We had to flag down another server as 4 out of 5 people were all out of water like had to eat my whole meal without anything to drink. Then I noticed I never got my cornbread, but no waitress so nobody to tell. I wanted to try the smoked turkey but they were all out. Just felt like a total waste of money and time. I think managers should do a walk around with these more expensive restaurants to avoid these things because there is no way if you went out to eat with your family would you want all your food to come out separately and to not get anything to drink after being there an hour!

I would love for someone in higher management to reach out to me about my experience trying to host a large event there. My experience with Will in particular still has me fuming as I was planning originally for a 50 guest party and it went up to 74 guests. I came in January and was shown around twice (once by Matt and once by Will) and told 2 different things. Will told me they'd hosted a wedding of 84 people, then recanted and said he never said it and he said 34 or 43. Anywho, the run around after sending out invites (thinking we would be hosting it in your restaurant) was then halted by excuses that the time and date would never work as its a busy time but when we met it was a perfect time to host. Long story short we had to find accommodations else where, well next door at Bahama Breeze which took us with no problem. I would again love for someone like a restaurant owner or corporate figure to reach out to me. Not Will or Matt as I will get nowhere. Please and thank you because the lack of care and excuses still have me on edge. To turn down a party this size is unheard of.

I make it a point to try something different every time I am in Tampa / Brando area. I ordered the Bolognese with King Estate Pinot. Great paring. The Bolognese was on point still haven't had a bad meal or wine selection.
