So I got home from work and felt like eating something different from this ordinary stuff in riverview, I found this spot on door dash so I decided to try it, mind you I live in riverview off of big bend a nice hike for door dash, I ordered chicharron de pollo and chicharrones con toestones because I couldn't decide. Food took around 40 minutes to get here and we'll worth the wait, I've been in this area for over 20 years, im puerto rican from the bronx and OMG...
I took a 40 min drive to try this and WOW! I didn't expect it to be this good. I come from NY and El Patio RD Chimi definitely did not disappoint. The tostones were soooo good and crunchy and so was the chicharron. The chimi definitely has the flavor that we all crave from one. I recommend this place 100%!
Excellent portion size and the flavor is on point. Food is cooked when ordered on site, so it takes some time to receive the order. We ate the chicarrón with fried plantains, salami/queso frito and orejas with batata, and a chimi de res.
