Good place but the food is not really good
Love love love this place. My daughter in law and myself come here once a month to spend time with each other and discuss life. I can say the food is very good and so is the watermelon lemon drop.
This is the best sauce in town look it here this is so good that it will keep you coming back believe me
The service and atmosphere were both great. Our waitress was warm, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable right away.
When it comes to the food, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The appetizer and entrees we tried—crab cakes, catfish, and shrimp—were all fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Definitely the highlights of the meal.
However, the blue crab boil was a big letdown and it didn’t taste fresh at all. The crab was extremely dry, almost like it had been reheated or frozen. There was no moisture in the meat, and it lacked the tenderness you’d expect—even overcooked crab isn’t usually that dry. On top of that, the seasoning was overly salty, which made it even less enjoyable.
Overall, we appreciated the service and liked some of the dishes, but the crab boil missed the mark
The taste of food was just okay. I did not like boil sauce. But their service was good .
Went there Saturday afternoon. Most of the food was good my waitress was great. However, I'll never go back. I ordered a side of mac n cheese that I thought was gross. Asked the waitress to take it off which she handled gracefully but I assume the manager comes over and asks very loudly, " You don't like my home-made mac n cheese!" I told her no throws a dismissive hand and says fine I'll take it off. What was the point? The waitress told her I didn't like it, she didn't ask what about it I didn't like. Just to yell at me? To embarrass me? Either way, this kind a food is a dime and dozen and no better or worse than other restaurants of it's kind, so I won't go back.

This was our 1st time there(11/10/24). I got the fried tilapia with coleslaw on the side and my wife got the fried catfish. The food was hot, fresh, perfect and it was reasonably priced. The service was excellent too. We are already talking about going back. I think anyone would be very happy with this restaurant.

I recently dined at Hot & Crazy Crab, and I have to say, my experience was quite disappointing for the nearly $70 I spent.
To start, the fried shrimp were a letdown. They lacked seasoning and flavor, leaving them dry and unappetizing. The crab legs were similarly underwhelming, missing the vibrant taste that seafood should deliver. It was disheartening to experience such blandness when I had high hopes for a flavorful meal.
As for my Arnold Palmer, it was unfortunately watered down, which was not what I expected. A refreshing drink should enhance the dining experience, but this one fell flat, lacking the balance of flavors I was looking for.
On a positive note, I must commend the server for their kindness and attentiveness. Their friendly demeanor was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing meal.
Overall, my visit to Hot & Crazy Crab did not meet my expectations.

their food was OK. I see a lot of reviews stating that they are better than Mrs. and Mrs. crabs that is incorrect their shrimp boil is much smaller as far as shrimp goes their sauces mediocre and the service was not all that great. Maybe they were short staffed but they were also short customers, so I assume the service would've been better than what it was but it's OK.

First time ever eating here! Had family dinner for a birthday. The food was phenomenal. Tiffany the waitress was so attentive, knowledgeable and caring. Our drinks were never empty and this is a petpeeve of mine! The manager/owner engaged with us. Felt very welcome by all. Highly recommend!! BETTER than Boston Lobster Feast in my opinion.
