Kobé Japanese Steakhouse - Brandon

I would like to provide an objective review of my experiences at Kobe's, with the intention of ensuring that potential diners do not misconstrue my observations as a complete dismissal of the establishment. I recommend that individuals consider multiple reviews prior to visiting this restaurant. I have frequented Kobe's on several occasions for various celebrations, including birthdays, and I have consistently observed a pattern of overbooking and inadequate pacing. It is critical for restaurants to honor the reservations made by patrons. In my most recent experience, I had a reservation at 6:30 PM, and I was accompanied by a child who was eagerly anticipating hibachi for her birthday. However, we were not seated until 7:15 PM. While I understand that other diners need to finish their meals, it is essential to show consideration for those individuals who have made reservations. Had I been conducting business or attending a professional meeting, the delay would have resulted in a significant waste of time. Besides that, the food was good and the server we had was so nice and polite. The chefs are all so kind and entertaining, while Kobe's has some issues, it's not all bad.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Abend im Kobe Hibachi Japanese Restaurant! Die Atmosphäre war lebendig und einladend, das Personal super freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Hibachi-Show direkt am Tisch – der Koch war nicht nur kulinarisch top, sondern auch richtig unterhaltsam. Die Gerichte waren hervorragend zubereitet: zartes Fleisch, frischer Fisch und knackiges Gemüse, alles perfekt gewürzt und auf den Punkt gegart. Auch die Sushi-Auswahl war frisch und kreativ. Besonders empfehlenswert: das Filet Mignon und die gebratenen Garnelen! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut, vor allem wenn man das Erlebnis mit einbezieht. Ideal für Familien, Feiern oder einfach mal einen besonderen Abend.

Went to celebrate birthday and date night! Great food, drinks, and ambiance and the chef was amazing!

I loved Junior as my chef. It was the best time I have had and I have been going for my Birthday for years!!!! Junior was the best!!!!!

When we arrived the hostess stand was running 20-30 mins behind. We ended up getting seated around 45 mins after our reservation time. The hostess that sat us was extremely rude and seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else. After getting seated it took about 1 1/2 hours for the chef to arrive at the table. Our reservation was at 8:30 and we ended end our dinner until almost 11:30. The food was good but the wait and service was not great. Most of our drinks sat empty most of the time even after the waitress made comments about being right back to fill them.

Not the experience we were looking for. Cook did not engage with the table. Server was not very attentive to our table. Tip was already added but service did not warrant the tip. May not be visiting Kobe for awhile.

The service was extremely slow. Our reservation was for 5pm and we were seated promptly. The chef did not come to the table until 5:45pm. We had a bowl of soup and salad for 45 minutes. It also took a long time to get the bill after eating because our server had too many tables to wait on. On the bright side, the food and chef were great.

Service was slow at first. Cook was very friendly. Food tasted awesome. Filet very tender, shrimp tasty and rice very good. Way too much food. Potatoes rice noodles vegetables was just too overwhelming. Could have done at least without the potatoes. Noodle tasted great but again just too much food and way too expensive for this type of restaurants $210 for four was just over the top. We will come back but will order smaller meals if possible.

Our chef Mike made everything delicious and our server Dakota was attentive and fun. I forgot to use my Kobe rewards as my only complaint, but we will be back! Great birthday dinner for my daughter !!!

We had a 7:30 reservation and showed up promptly at 7:25 with our entire party. We didn't get sat at our table until 8:20. A 50 minute wait for a reservation time is insane. If it happened once, fine. But it was our second visit with a reservation with this particular Kobe restaurant, and the wait times are out of control. Once we were seated, the food was great and our chef was entertaining!

We loved our time there in reference to the excellent food, preparation and service by thr Chef and the serve. We couldn't ask for more. However, very very disappointed that with a RSVP at 5:30pm, we were not witted until 6:30pm. Every time I asked and many other customers am about how long, they kept saying they were sitting the 5:00pm crowd. I understand waiting a little bit but this was ridiculous. I noticed few people told the hostess they were leaving. It is outrageous that they overbooked so many people for each time slot.

We had a very long wait for our cook. Almost an house after being by seated. He was amazing but the long wait was not great.

The food was good, but the service was not that great for a $300 check for 4 people. Our reservation was at 2 didn't get sat till 2:15. Our chef didnt start cooking till 3:15 and we had birthday celebration which seemed as an afterthought. Not very satisfied with the service. The food was great however.

The beer was warm and it took one hour from the time we sat down before we even seen a cook. Service was not good at all

Went to celebrate my husbands birthday with our three adult kids. It was nice. I made a reservation and we were seated on time. I don't feel like I got as much food as usual. The soup, salad, and rice was great. The noodles just ok and veggies bland. I had the steak and it was pretty dry and tough. The service was great. The chef was nice and personable. He was funny. Overall a good night out eating.
