Fast food setting, food was mid
Good food, clean and friendly. Just like the food I grew up eating in Ybor City.
The Cuban was dry, but the service is amazing 👏
Okay. Let me get this right:
- Deviled the size at triple the price
- the 'jumbo' pollo - ...mid-sized.
...and the best part... prompted for a tip even though we order standing at the counter, and self-serve our own drinks.
By the way, the large framed picture at the back of the restaurant is crooked.
BONUS - The sexually explicit framed pictures in the men's restroom I know are relics of the past... but really? Maybe that's not appropriate today.
Wery good Cuban
Their food sucked ..
Good group of people in the restaurant, no issues with service at all. The food is ehh, past few visits were definitely lacking season/flavor. Not like it used to be hope they figure it out soon!
Much better in the past and hoping for restored excellence remembered
The food is quite good. Wish they would pull up the carpet, it makes the restaurant very dark, combined with a black ceiling very unappealing, after all this is not a nightclub.
The food us absolutely divine!!!

Great cuban food. My wife loves the arroz con pollo or the seventh avenue salad. I like the picadillo or the pescado a la russa.
Used to love La Septima. So we rediscovered it about a year ago but we more than likely will not return after several visits hoping it will get better. Seems they have been in a major decline since relocating several years ago. The old restaurant was warm and welcoming and steeped in tradition. A great place where you could be seated and have a server for a more intimate experience. Since moving, the restaurant feel is very cafeteria like and impersonal. The decor is less than inviting and the entire space is in desperate need of renovation. The food quality has also fallen below previous standards and is often not very hot (often cold) or fresh for that matter in my opinion. The Palomilla Steak I had last time definitely seemed premade and merely warmed. It was pretty flavorless and dried out. The yellow rice has been dry the past couple of times we have been and seemed old and re-warmed. I haven’t asked but I assume the bread is still brought in from Casino Bakery so that part is always good with the olive butter and since the bread makes the sandwich, the Cuban is just ok except for the pork which is also dry, but I can honestly say I have had better elsewhere. Portion sizes have shrunk in recent years as well and the once great home cooked food has been sacrificed in my opinion for shortcuts, reheated food, and frozen product that has been shipped in. Sorry y’all, it really used to be special. Not so much now.
Every menu item we ordered was a delight.
You order at the counter and they bring your dinner to you, our order was hot and tasty and served within minutes after ordering.

Everytime we go to Florida La septima is our stop!!! The food is so amazing! The deviled crab, fusion burrito ,the olive butter and bread. Just so perfect every time!
