Wonderful food! Their hummus is so creamy and delicious! The chicken shawarma supreme sandwich is so good! The garlic sauce makes it! Their pita bread is made in house and so fresh and good! The owners are also super friendly and the place is always clean!

I’m going to give this restaurant 5 stars solely on their food! THEE Best hummus I’ve ever had! Their Greek salad was amazing as well. I never eat the potato salad but I did eat this one. My husband got the chicken gyro platter and he just nodded and mmm ? the entire time. The flavors are so authentic and the portions generous. I even ordered an extra humus to go for work the next day! Service was good. Cons: The place really could use some sprucing up. Menu boards didn’t work and they only had canned drinks.

We ate lunch their today and it was fabulous, as always. We had gyros, both chicken and lamb, and also a side of Tzatziki. Chef Amir also gave us a cheesy marscapone dessert to try. Light, slightly sweet, and delicious. We ended up leaving with two sides of Tzatziki, and smiles of pure satisfaction.

I'm always on the lookout for authentic ethnic food. Mr Hummus doesn't sound like an authentic Greek place, but don't let the name fool you. This is the real deal. There's not table service, and the restaurant looks like an old Chinese takeout place. It has four tables. You order and pay at the counter, and can take out or eat at one of the table. They serve the best hummus I have ever tasted. And I've had hummus in many, many places. On that count, the name is very appropriate. Mr Hummus. I had the chicken kabob wrap, and the thing was made to order and it was served hot, fresh and flavorful. The falafel is extremely good. The flavors are very authentic and they remind me of the Greek quarter in Tampa. I'm definitely coming back. There's a ton more on that menu I want to try. This place will satisfy your hankering for authentic bold Greek flavor. It's as good as it gets.

Food was incredibly fresh! meat well seasoned. I’m surprised this guy only charges $7.00 for a gyro. We got the Greek salad with the best potatoe salad ever on it and the veggies were super fresh and crispy. We also got the meat plate which my kids split that came with grilled sliced veggies that we used to eat the chefs special hummus (cilantro Jalapeño!). We also got a gyro and a chicken gyro. And a ton of pitas. Oh, And honey bread. Everything was great and only about $60 for 4 entrees an appetizer and a dessert. We will be back!

After reading rave reviews about Mr. Hummus on multiple FB posts, I decided to try it myself today. The restaurant is tucked away in a little plaza off of Brandon Blvd, directly next to a Walmart plaza. Parking was not an issue when we went (Saturday late afternoon). The restaurant itself is small and a bit dated, however the service and the food were stupendous. The owner is the chef and had a very attentive young man waiting the tables and counter. Regarding the food: We started with a hummus appetizer, and were given some roasted red pepper hummus and falafel as a bonus... Then came the entrees! I ordered gyro platter, wife the chicken shawarma platter, and the boys had kids chicken shawarma. All delicious and highly recommended! Will definitely return!

I had the chicken gyro platter and everything was perfect, pita bread was warm and hummus and taziki sauce..yummm. please support your local and do yourself a favor and try this spot, you won't regret it.

So I got there when they opened and the cook is this really nice guy. He told me it would be a minute because they were just starting for the day and made sure I was comfortable waiting for the food. Best Gyro sandwich I've had so far in Tampa! Definitely recommend trying out, but maybe don't go exactly when they open up haha
