I had a great experience everything was fantastic, my food was hot and fresh! There’s no reason for the 1 star reviews about ordering on a kiosk. It’s been like that for over 2 years now if you’re too old to know how to use technology then there’s many other places you can go!!

Gone is the old-timey diner atmosphere. It's just a McD's now. You place your own order at a kiosk (no menus) before you sit down. You have to scan a QR code to dispense ice, then scan it again to dispense a drink. You find your own table. You pick your own food up from the counter when they call your name. You clear your own table and get your own to-go stuff. I'm sure they fired all of the wait staff. They could probably bring a few employees back if they trimmed their salt budget for the hyper-salted fries. I wanted to take my kid out to lunch and relax. I didn't realize I worked at Steak and Shake but I was proven wrong. It wasn't what we were expecting.

Where do I start from the time you walk in it's like you're walking into a mortuary or something my bun was wet for my burger you pick your food up at the counter now you don't even have table service you have a code you have to scan to get a drink if you stop with your drink you got to re-enter the code it's just ridiculous no courtesy no personal service it just totally sucks it cost to my son to feed a family of four $60 I ordered a kid's meal for my son and he literally got five french fries

I ordered the garlic burger. I didn't know sauce would be on it and I don't like sauce. Completely my fault. I asked the manager if I could get one without the sauce and she made it for me with no issues. Thank You so much for fixing my mistake. Food was ready fast. The store was clean. I appreciate the manager for doing that for me. The other staff greeted us and were friendly.
