This place was, meh. We won't be going back. The food was bland and my husband found a weird piece of wire in his grilled chicken. The waitress was super aggressive and though the look of the place was very traditional, the food wasn't.

Didn’t like the way I looked apparently. They looked me up and down a couple times and they sent someone over to say they aren’t taking any more people since they are full with reservations even the place was mostly empty and didn’t ask if I had a reservation. I guess my money isn’t welcome there.

First time visiting and oh my, we had a great meal and compassionate service from Donna. The food was incredible, the ambiance was very, well, Italian and we'll be back with more friends.

I found this hidden gem while cruising the Internet for an Italian restaurant kind of close to home. A little bit off the beaten path in a very small strip mall. When we pulled up it wasn't much to look at but upon entering the hostess and the environment were warm and inviting. From our server Michael all the way up to Frank the manager & Vito the owner, the entire staff were attentive to everyone in the restaurant. All of the food Is shopped for and made daily. I had the carbonara and my husband had the veal parmesan and it was absolutely delicious. I generally do not have dessert but I ordered the tiramisu and it was awesome. We will definitely be going back and recommending this little piece of Italy to our friends and family.

You absolutely won't believe how truly delicious this meal is. Don't get me wrong - I've always enjoyed the "chain Italian" restaurants but Allegria makes them taste like they came from a can. Temperature was just right, serving size was generous and the flavor... oh my. We had drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts - I was prepared for a sizable bill but even then Allegria surprised me. This is affordable, delicious and a hidden gem in the area. Can't wait to go back again and again and again.

The ugly was the waitress, complaining about her customers being rude to her. She declined use of yelp incentive. Left dishes stacked on table. When sprinkling cheese and pepper on dishes she did it at a long distance, covering the plate and the table. Seemed disinterested in working as a waitress.

Your many years of restaurant experience certainly taught you a lot about the business but nothing on how to turn an unhappy customer experience into a benefit to your business. Simple, you put away your ego and bravado and say: I'm sorry you had a bad experience at our wonderful restaurant where we take pride in every meal we serve. Please come back and give us another chance. Thank you, Mr.d. Instead of doing that you choose to insult me. How many readers of my review and your reply will not likely bother to try your restaurant because of your treatment of your customers. I'm was a customer too who will of course not come back. There are other options. P.S. you may consider writing back but do consider your audience. Maybe you should go out the kitchen door and yell at the sky, not a customer.

The food at ALLEGRIA is the epitome of italian cuisine! Everything we ordered was fresh, savory, good size servings from the appetizers to the dessert. The place is quaint with a very tranquil and welcoming ambiance. Clean, must I mention, impeccable!... We had the mozzarella burrata ( highly recommended by our waiter Michael.) Baked Clams oreganatta, eggplant rollatini were all freshly made and came out fast and at the perfect temperature. Plenty of hot crisp bread with butter. For entrees we had the veal valdostana, , eggplant Parmigiano , Fettuccine a la Giovanna. All an absolute delight, the sauces in each entree were a feast for your palate. Of course we had to try the sangria...crisp, fruity, blended just right. Now comes dessert, tiramisu, canolis, Amaretto Mascarpone Torte however, this we had to take home. The feast was superb but the stomach can take but so much. The dinning experience has been the best. During the Covid times I've noticed the quality of food and service has been declining. But this place has kept its integrity. Last but not least, our waiter MICHAEL, who was very pleasant, courteous with a great sense of humor, albeit, keeping it very professional. He was very knowledgeable about all the menu, quite attentive without being overbearing, and we ventured to order on his suggestions, THANK YOU MICHAEL!!! ALLEGRIA FOUND A GEM IN YOU. Not sorry we did, all he suggested was indeed as delicious as he said it would be..We are from NY, were there are many italian ristorantes and trattorias that uphold the traditional cuisine, fresh ingredients, herbs. Allegria bought back those memories where families would gather and enjoy the delight of all those aromas wafting about. I was disgusted to read such horrible message from the owner to a fellow mom. "Gluttony is sin?" "4 Raviolis are not enough for a big woman like you?" "Loose weigh?" "You sound like you live in the Meta Verse?" "Go back to Golden Corral or Olive Garden" What happened to speaking to each other with respect. This is how this place treats its customers?? I hope you don't stay in business for too much longer. Learn to talk to people with respect. Everyone one is allowed an opinion. Don't work with the public if you can't handle it. And insulting and putting woman down because of their weight?! and demoralizing her is unacceptable. I hope you look in the mirror first and see what you need to fix with you first. I would start with your mouth. Look at Your defects and fix it first before you move on to telling people what you think is wrong with them. By the way... the "fat people" as you call them, are the ones who keep you in business.

One of the best Italian spots in the Brandon area. I love the atmosphere of the place. Soon as you walk in you have a great ambiance. The staff were very friendly and always there when we needed them. We started out with the sampler appetizer and calamari. The calamari was seasoned very well. The sauce was warm and had a great taste. I have the fettuccini Giovanna, my wife had the eggplant rollatini and for dessert chocolate cake and lemoncello. All were delirious and hit the spot. Things were priced reasonably as well. Make this a spot tour get to, you won't regret it

Thanks Yelp! We were starving and our original plan had a 40 minute wait at 5:30 on Friday night so we starting surfing Yelp and stumbled upon this spot. We enjoyed the Salmon Puttanesca and Gnocchi Bolognese. Both were 5 stars. The bread service was some of the best I've ever had. The Salmon came with a Potato Croquette and veggie medley. Francesca, our server, was sweet and speedy. We will most definitely be back!

This was our first time at this restaurant and we loved it! The food and service were both excellent even tho two large parties were seated right after we entered the restaurant. We are very picky with calamari and this was the best we have had in a long time. Not only was it tender, but the accompanying sauce was very good also. The salad was very good as were our main meals. We will definitely return to this restaurant.
