My wife and I used to come here when we were dating. They've made a few changes inside and it looks a bit better. We liked the food so much then that we used them for catering our wedding (our family is Cuban), and after the event everyone wanted to know who we used for catering they liked the food so much.
Was in the area the other day and decided to see if its still good-- it is. Roast pork has seasoning and doesnt taste bland. Ropa Vieja was good. Moist rice. Tasty beans. Super good bread with spicy sauce for dipping. Everything as good as we remember. Better than the Columbia IMO (their food is bland).

Let me start by saying I was a little nervous going here because we arrived only 30min before they closed, unintentionally though, because we were looking for a new spot to try and this place was open while we were about to drive past. They did NOT disappoint one bit!! We felt welcome and not rushed, the food was ready in about 15min, the food was hot, and nothing tasted like it had been sitting under a heater all day. The portion sizes were huge. I got the grouper tacos with white rice and black beans. The rice was tender, the grouper was well seasoned with a nice char, and the black beans were authentically seasoned. It could've fed 3 people (in my opinion). Also, the kids burger is the size of an adult burger, huge. Last but not least, my husband had the Parrillada and he said it was all very good too, it would've been enough for four people! The music was extremely loud, but the band was great and everyone was enjoying themselves which was nice to see. We loved it and we'll definitely be back. Thank you!

First time here today. Met with a friend for a Cuban Sandwich. I wasn't very hungry so took half of Sandwich home. I decided to open up the layers of the Sandwich to have with some coffee. To my surprise the Sandwich had NO Swiss Cheese and NO Salami. Just mayo, ham and pulled pork. This is a deceptive practice. Short changing the customer to increase profit. First impression is disappointing 😞

We had a great Valentine Day celebration. We got lucky to get in, there were allot of people waiting for a table. Marla our waitress was busy but attentive. The music was authentic and awsome. Highly recommend.

Great place to whether its breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Jessica was an amazing & attentive server. Even when I have to order food to go staff makes extra effort to put silverware, napkins, sauces, etc. I would highly recommend this place for quick meal such as sandwiches. In addition if you have time Street Tacos amazing, Brazilian Steak, full liquor bar!!! Location on John Moore is awesome!!!
