I Never tried Mofongo before, so when I saw the picture of this dish in the restaurant menu I was impressed, reality hit me hard, I ordered mofongo churrasco.... Nothing like the picture, quality of food average, overpriced for what it was. Definitely I don't recommend this place. December 2025👎

Food and drinks were great however service was much to be desired. One we had a reservation for a table for 10 but they gave us a table for 8. Guest had to stand for 10 minutes while everyone else had to be seated to just get an extra chair. Took forever to get a glass of water. It was packed, parking was slim pickings and had a strobe light in face the entire night. But the staff was very sweet and nice. The atmosphere was very loud and lively.

My food was good. My girlfriend didn’t really like the dish that she ordered. She told them and they didn’t offer anything to make it right. The service was bad, it took them 20 minutes to come take our order and didn’t really check back on us to see if we needed anything or a refill of our drinks.
Shrimp ceviche was awesome, really nice flavors. Main dish’s very good and portions were generous. Their green (hot) sauce was also really good

This was our first visit to Latin Grill in Brandon on a recommendation from a friend. The restaurant is a pretty good size and the air conditioner is definitely working. The staff were really nice and helpful. The menu is pretty extensive with a lot of options. My wife roast pork (lechon asado) plate with yellow rice, red beans and sweet plantains (maduros). I had grilled pork chops (chuletas) with white rice, black beans and fried plantains (tostones). Both our meals were very tasty and seasoned perfectly. They were also sizable portions so we had leftovers. I prefer the chuletas deep fried but the grilled were good also. We recommend this restaurant for latin food from the Caribbean and South America…
