Had a nice dinner with family. Beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Food was delicious and service from Valentine was over the top. Looking forward to returning soon.
Having been to New Orleans many times, I have a fairly high level of expectation when it comes to Cajun and Creole cuisine. I have to say, Tibby's lived up to it. The first thing you notice is the decor, it actually managed to have a New Orleans feel right despite being off Brandon Boulevard! Next was the menu. Luckily we had all studied it in advance so we were able order quickly. The fried green tomatoes were excellent, the meals we had were all extremely tasty and large portions - the crawfish pie deserves a special mention, as well as the gumbo, jambalaya and anything with those delicious grits. The only issue anyone had was the poboy had fully split bread instead of being still connected on one side, making it a little messy to eat. But the desserts were the actual stars. The beignets were hot and light, and the praline bread pudding, served warm with a decadent praline sauce, was to die for. I would come back just for that! Also unlike most restaurants, the tea was very very good both sweetened and unsweetened. We found the chairs comfortable and the service was exemplary. The manager came by twice to check on us and ensured we were given our military discount even though the check had already been presented. Tibby's is now on our list of preferred restaurants!
Sending multiple entrees back to the kitchen is never a good sign at a restaurant. My second and last experience at Tibby's.
Love the Rita's chicken! The chicken was prepared perfectly and served hot! We've been numerous times and will go again!
Superior, authentic New Orleans dishes. Having grown up in New Orleans, Tibby's plates are like eating in NOLA .
Grits were cold and not the usual smoothly goodness, biscuits were hard as heck. Hurricane drinks were crafted amazingly. (Bartender with a beard did an amazing job). Service and ambience were amazing.
I brought my friend from New Orleans and he loved it! We had the Crawfish Étouffée and the Beignets. Service was exceptional.
jayleiana was super awesome and friendly! I was super to have her as my server!! The best!
