⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best authentic Jamaican restaurant in Town-they give you a good amount of food. Prices / good. The staff amazing /clean environment .you can taste the season in every bite Love, their red pea soup,🥣 and the curry goat 🐐, one of my favorite 🤩 every dish is yummy 😋

Because you are in good service - meaning customers come in to eat or drink - BY LAW YOU HAVE TO ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO USE THE RESTROOM. you cannot operate a restaurant without a restroom.

I ordered brown strewed fish and it was tough and it appeared to have been previously cooked and then frozen and then reheated when I ordered it. It was not good and shame if that was what they are passing off to the public. It’s usually good food but maybe it’s under new owners. Highly disappointed

I've tried to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt but I can't sit back and say nothing any longer. I LOVE Jamaican cuisine, so having a restaurant close to me made me happy. However, this restaurant is soooooo dirty!! It looks like they NEVER wash the glass windows/doors coming into the restaurant. First impressions are super important and yes, they should be washed every day for cleanliness but clearly they aren't. Also, the door leading into the kitchen is FILTHY!! The dirt has been there for YEARS! I know this because every time l've gone in there it's the same exact dirt plus more!! Ugh ...
recently I went in to give them another chance ... but l ended up walking out because the woman working there was coughing and sneezing, she put a mask on but it didn't cover her nose???
Just her mouth?? Germs are passed through the nose AND mouth ! Sigh. I bought food from this restaurant about 6 months ago and got severely ill the next day! I can't help to wonder if I got food poisoning??? Sigh.
It is imperative that places that serve food should be spotless when you're feeding the community.
Unfortunately, mom and pop shops like this where the owners are from other countries don't always uphold the health standards that are required to have a food establishment here. l've traveled the world so I know what it's like eating in other countries, and yes l've been to Jamaica several times. Sometimes things like washing glass and doors are over looked. But you seriously can't do this! It is indicative of how the food is being prepared in my eyes!
To the owners and staff PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a deep clean of your restaurant! Call a professional if need be! You don't need to use toxic chemical cleaning products either! Like seriously, very hot water and dish soap is all you need!! But this is unacceptable. You can also take a magic eraser with HOT water and soap to clean the door in between the dining area and kitchen! | can't even imagine what the kitchen looks like 😫

I don’t like trashing small businesses because I know first hand how challenging it is to run one, so if you could do a deep clean I’ll actually come back and remove this review. This is an opportunity to improve, many people won’t tell you what they see wrong they just won’t come back! Unless you just don’t want to be the best 🔥 Jamaican restaurant out there then I guess you’ll be fine. 🤔

Drove 20 mins out my way for this place. First time here. Wasn't greeted at all when I walked in. The lady behind the counter just looked at me. I spoke and she appeared to be bothered by me speaking. Food is all covered up in warming trays so can't tell what's being served. Just a bunch of questions. I just walked out. First impression....not impressed.

The food is overall good except I found a very long hair in the curry chicken & have not ordered it since. They do not wear hair nets while serving the food. The oxtails have great flavor but are often too chewy to enjoy/not cooked long enough. Their soups are pretty good. They NEVER answer the phone on any given day if you want to call to inquire about anything. No one greets you or even cracks a smile when you come in. A simple “Good afternoon” would go a long way. Much can be done to improve & earn more stars.

Very distasteful. The meat was very chewy. Overall the food was horrible. This is not authentic Caribbean food at all
