We had such a wonderful experience at Turkish Kitchen off Bloomingdale. I ordered the Beef Shish platter, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to tender perfection, while my wife enjoyed the Lahmacun—thin, crispy, and full of flavor. We started with the Cigar Borek appetizer, and it was absolutely delicious, light and flaky with just the right amount of filling. What really made the visit special was our server, Melissa. She was incredibly attentive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. Since we had another appointment to get to, she went above and beyond to ensure our meal was served promptly without ever making us feel rushed. Between the authentic dishes and the outstanding service, Turkish Kitchen is definitely a spot we’ll be returning to. Highly recommend both the food and the staff!

We had been waiting to visit Turkish Kitchen for a while now and finally had the opportunity. Service was very good and the restaurant looked and felt clean. The meats we had were well seasoned and cooked. We had the chicken shish, chicken adana and Mix shish(lamb and beef). No complaints on the meats which were to our liking. The rice that comes with the dishes was a little bland and over cooked, but still good enough to eat. The salad that come with the dish was flavorful and good. The babaganoush was OK, but not in my top 5 list of babaganoush of the restaurants we've been to. The falafel was very good also. Overall the experience was good.

I love EVERYTHING about this restaurant. The ambience is relaxing. The food is SUPERB! Mucver was delicious. I ordered one, ate it and ordered two more to take home. I love being able to see them prepare the food. Ozlem, our server, was a delight!
We are world travelers and also foodies...We have been looking for a good Turkish Resturant for many years. Today we found it with The Turkish Kitchen on Bloomingdale. Our server Ozlem, was a delight spot on with service... We ordered iskender kebap, lahmacun, Turkish tea an Efes beer along with a bottle of ayran. Everything was great. We enjoyed talking with Ozlem, as it gave us the opportunity to speak a little Turkish with her. Before we could leave, the manager had a nice bowl of rice pudding sent to our table. The entire dinner brought back so many fond memories of our stay in Turkey. The Turkish Kitchen will become a regular stop for us now. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Started off with the Mixed Mezze. Hummus, Haydari, and I think spicy ezme. Came with a freshly baked bread. Delicious across the board. Tasty hummus, slight smoky taste and not overly creamy. Spicy ezme, with a crazy blend of ingredients but so fresh with a slight spice. Yogurt dip as well. Great flavors and cool and warm feelcwoth the dip of the bread.
For the entree I had the Mix Grill. Mainly to try a bit of all the meats available. Came with adana kebab, chicken shish, kofte, doner, and chicken adana. Some salad and two scoops of rice. EVERYTHING was delicious. Full flavors on all the meats, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Tender and juicy as well. Rice was great too. Fluffy lots of flavor with a light oily texture.
Great service as well. Check on regularly. Relaxing and welcoming environment too. Open kitchen style and they have someone just making the dough and bread right there.
A little more expensive than other places, but definitely worth the quality, taste, and service.
