My Dad and I used to stop and eat lunch at the Apalachee Restaurant back in the early to mid 6o's, on our way to Dove shoots in Calhoun County. Still remember that it was really good.
Very good food & kind service. Highly recommend!
We ate at this restaurant 6 years ago and I still remember it as the best home cooked southern food I have eaten in many, many years. The place isn't fancy by any means, but the food is hot, fresh, and home made. Only place I have ever eaten cream of spinach soup and, it was AMAZING. I also had the southern fried chicken and it was also delicious. If we ever pass through this area again, we will definitely stop by!
