Nice restaurant,food was wonderful...we set close to the bar area and some of the customers were a bit loud,couldn't even hear the specials of the day from our waiter Riley. Table was ready when we arrived 15 minutes early. Service was a bit slow but the staff kept our water and drinks filled promptly. The staff all seem to work together very well! Food was better than expected for a “seasoned “ Foodie . First time there for 3 in our party . Price was acceptable for quality of food... Presentation was Beautiful!

We weren't sure what to expect and we're totally surprised at the atmosphere and ambience. We enjoyed our drive through the countryside and were blown away with the food. We started with their Asian baby back ribs, which were a large portion in which two people could easily share. I had the special which was striped bass. The portion was more than I could eat in one sitting and the spinach was braised to perfection.  We would put the food on par with some of the nicest restaurants in Ocala. Our server and all the staff were attentive to our needs and if you're into whiskey, tastings, and such, I'm sure you would have a great time. It is definitely worth the drive and we will be back.

The food and overall service was great. A little pricey, four people over $250 without tip, but great for a special occasion. Ambiance is fantastic and like I said the people were great.

The best ambience imaginable, perfect live smooth soft sounding music, every bite we had from sharing the small plates on the menu wonderful right to the end with the dessert. The drinks are all supper unique and Blake was awesome.

Four of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Prong. Our server Riley was a delight. Knowledgeable and helpful. The musician was excellent and played at the perfect volume. The ambiance was nice with it being a bit rustic yet not overly so. Subdued lighting and comfortable seating. We were impressed that such a special restaurant is so far away from population centers. We paid for the bread service and it was good. One guest had the pork chop special and found it delicious. Another had the grouper and loved it. A third guest had the duck breast and commented on the skin being crispy and meat at the proper degree of cooking. I had the airline chicken and was glad I ordered it. Very flavorful and tender.

Our experience was excellent as always. The servers and bar tenders are always on their game and make our night fun every time. We love the salmon so much that we rarely try anything else, but it all looks good.
First time dining here. Each and every one of the staff were welcoming. Our waiter, Trent, was very attentive and made sure we were happy. The food came out expeditiously. We started with the pistachio crusted brown sugar bourbon bacon (to die for) and the chimichurri yuca fries, which my husband loved so much he ordered more to go with his entree. I had the tenderloin and I must say I think it was the best steak I've ever had. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sides were also seasoned well. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had the NY Strip and he raved about it as well. All in all we will definitely go back to Black Prong again.

What a hidden gem! The atmosphere was perfect. The staff was very attentive. Our table had the hanger steak, grouper and salmon. They were all delicious. It is a bit of drive, but oh so worth it.

We had the most wonderful evening at Black Prong. The food and the service were excellent. Make sure and treat yourself to a dessert. The Salted Caramel Apple Cake French Toast was beyond delicious.
