Just left the Black Prong for a birthday celebration, I'd give this place a 10 star or 120% rating if I could. Best restaurant I have been in years, staff, food, atmosphere, was off the hook awesome! Jada, our waitress was so professional and a beautiful personality and made the experience to remember forever. I highly recommend you try this hidden treasure in the middle of nowhere! The wife and me will return again and again!

I love Black Prong Bar and Grill (BPBG). The decor is amazing and the grounds are exquisitely managed. Last night I had the Braised Short Ribs and it/they were absolutely Devine! Well proportioned, perfectly presented and simply melted in the mouth. Bravo I say! BRAVO!! Others in my party had the crab cakes, NY Strip, and Wagyu burger and it sure was quiet at the table for a while :) Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted even better...I definitely recommend eating at the Black Prong. Either the bar and grill, or their lunch wagon, the Galloping Gourmet (GG). GG's Turkey club and cuban were super yummy this summer!
Kid-friendliness: The staff was very helpful and awesome in providing us with and placing a high chair.

This place has GREAT AMBIANCE..but lacking in service and food quality. Our table of 7 with reservations were seated with drink orders taken. Our server was the bartender so drinks were on point, but the service was slow as she was also "tending" bar for the whole place. Once our apps were ordered which was bread boards...that took almost 20mins to come out...as our server was tending bar ? Entrees were then ordered and when everything came out it was luke warm and pitiful looking. The shrimp risotto fell flat. It had 4 shrimp and maybe 1/3 cup risotto. The salmon dinner was decent. Two in our party had the short ribs that were about 3-4oz difference and one missing the steamed carrots. Carribean Mahi was a good size but dry and luke warm. Same thing for scallop dinner. We did end up with a different server at the end of our dinner. Maybe they called in extra servers. Gratuity was included in our check. My husband and I are willing to come back and maybe sit at the bar for drinks, apps and maybe a burger. If you are a foody and love great food unfortunately this isnt the place.

This was our first time here. This is a well kept and beautiful place. All the drinks and food that we ordered came out very good and tasty. Appetizers portions are a bit small so of course we ended up ordering many. Server was nice and attentive. Bathrooms were very clean and tidy.

My friend was very pleased with her mahi, husband said scallops well done nicely but my filet was overcooked and no (as in zero) seasoning. I ordered medium rare and got medium. Even before we looked at any menu or received water our waiter assumed we would like the bread board which we agreed to. While the bread was nice and hot and served with a seasoned butter, olive oil and Parmesan cheese I felt it lacked something, maybe a little seasoning, at the very least a little cracked pepper. Our waiter seemed more interested in waiting on the table more guests than our table of 3. Didn't try a dessert but will try the restaurant again as I really want it be one frequent over time.

The menu has changed since our last visit, very disappointed. Missing from the menu was, Redfish topped with crabmeat. Also missing was the bacon wrapped shrimp with jalapeños sauce. The Berry Mojito was mediocre.

Beautiful and my new one of favorite places to enjoy with such gorgeous sceneries all around. Customer service was absolutely amazing and polite. It was one of the best club sandwiches of my life. We can't wait to come back to have a formal dinner or stay in one of the cabins in the near future. Thanks again!

I had an outstanding experience at Black Prong Bar & Grill! Despite its rural location, the ambiance and atmosphere were exceptional, creating a warm and inviting setting. The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was both accurate and timely. The fish and chips were truly excellent, perfectly cooked and delicious, and the refreshingly good beverage complemented the meal perfectly. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.
