We visited Coney Island Drive-Inn, January 2026. We arrived close to opening time, so it was quiet when we arrived. Although it didn’t stay that way very long. By the time we left, there were people taking up most inside and outdoor covered tables. So they get a good crowd.
Coney Island probably took its name from the famous Coney Island in New York, that in itself, world renown for hot dogs, among other things. So the “World Famous Footlong” moniker is fitting...

Got there ten minutes before close and asked if they were still accepting orders, they were and super kind. The whole staff seemed extremely nice. The food was amazing. The little spot is off the beaten path and so cool.
