If you ever get a chance to golf here, DO IT. Unlike any other course I’ve played in Florida. Very well kept. Fun track with plenty of elevation changes and scenery. Worth the drive from anywhere in the Tampa Bay Area.
Southern Hills is a beautiful place and challenging golf course. Enjoyed our 2 day stay in their convenient and comfortable villa.

We had our wedding there this past weekend on March 15,2025 and it was absolutely beautiful. They went above and beyond on everything including the decorating. The dinners were absolutely delicious. They communicate fast with any questions, advice and with suggestions. Pricing was great. We definitely recommend.
Awesome, beautiful place!
Not your typical Florida course. This course has elevation changes and no flat lies. The layout is very interesting with a lot of blindshots. We found it to be in great shape. Definitely a must play if you can get on it.

I always enjoy my time at this venue but wanted to hop on and write a quick review specifically about Frances H. Southern Hills has a true gem working for them. Head of Food & Beverage Director/Event Sales, Frances is knowledgeable, patient, kind, and professional in every way. If you are looking for a place to host your event where you will be in good hands, she is sure to take care of you. Thank you, Frances!
Just spent 6 days staying at the 4 bedroom villa on site and highly recommend anyone looking for great accommodations and a world class course to seriously consider making Southern Hills their golf vacation choice.
The villa was spacious and clean and each bedroom has its own bathroom.
The golf course is tough but playable and in wonderful condition.
Special thanks to the pro shop staff as we had a few complications, not of their doing, that they dealt with quickly and professionally which helped make our stay even more enjoyable.
Already planning our next trip back.
Went to a sweet 16 birthday party. The venue was amazing. very clean, well organized. Beautiful venue to have a celebration.
