Classic greasy spoon type eatery. No frills order at window vibes…the fish sandwich didn’t bowl us over. Yes it’s big but our bun was dry and the fish wasn’t crispy and hot. Probably because we came off peak hours…The burger was better! Onion rings and fries were crispy and hot and the service was friendly. Soda was fizzy and cold
My husband and I stopped in to try the famous fish sandwich that we have been hearing so much about, and let me tell you, we were not disappointed! I had read in a previous review to ask for an extra bun and tartar sauce and we did that, but let me say that this sandwich could have easily fed three people! We ordered the sandwich basket and it came with the sandwich, fries, and coleslaw. We also ordered the hush puppies and we were absolutely stuffed! The service was excellent,...
We stopped in for lunch and it was great. Fish sandwich was gigantic, fries were hit and crispy and the bacon cheeseburger was great. If isn't fancy, but the food was hot and tasty!
