Sage Bistro is EXCELLENT! Whether you're stopping by for lunch or indulging in a sumptuous dinner, Sage Bistro never fails to impress. Their food is top-notch, delicious and extremely fresh!. Their daily specials are also always unique (which I love!) scrumptious and interesting. But it's not just about the food; it's the people behind the scenes who truly make Sage Bistro shine. Jeanne, one of the owners, embodies the warmth and hospitality that define the restaurant. Her genuine care for every guest ensures that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional, from start to finish. Also, her staff is friendly, professional and fun! Do yourself a favor and experience Sage Bistro. It’s delicious!

The salmon tacos were great! I asked for a rosemary/sage seasoning mix on the side and it really set a unique flavor. Highly recommend if looking for great food, variety selection, and even the chef comes out to ask how is the food.

You have to try the “new”Sage restaurant in Cape Canaveral. New owners Jeannine and Jeff have done an incredible job of breathing new life into the place and returning it to its former glory. While this place has been a local institution here in Cape Canaveral since before our time locally., my wife and I stopped going because we found the service uneven and the food to be inconsistent. After hearing it was under new ownership, we decided to give it another try. We saw they had recently opened for lunch, which is awesome since there aren’t really enough lunch spots locally, and cruised in to see what’s up. Pete, at the bar, was friendly, attentive and took us through the food and drink menus, which were both impressive. Jeannine also stopped by to welcome us. Based on their suggestions, we had the crab cake sandwich (not huge but great flavor and packed with fresh perfectly cooked crabmeat as opposed to a ton of filler or breadcrumbs like you sometimes see), the lamb gyros (well cooked and absolutely huge portion for the money) and the Caesar salad (Sage has always made a great Caesar and the new owners have wisely kept it the same, the secret is the homemade traditional dressing). Suffice to say, our experience, including the craft cocktails, earned two enthusiastic thumbs up. We will be back and encourage you all to check it out and support the new owners as they continue to improve this once proud establishment and give us a new “local” spot to frequent. Good job, guys. See you soon.

We found a gem of a place this week while visiting the east coast. Sage Bistro is a wonderful alternative to the typical fish shack cuisine in this area. We sat at the bar and Pete the bartender took care of us. He was wonderful as was the food and drink! We ordered off the tapas menu, choosing dishes at a leisurely pace which really made for an enjoyable meal. Later in the evening, the owners joined the other patrons and us at the bar which we thought was a nice touch. Overall, this place is great! Take our sage advice: Go here!

The customer service here was amazing! The kids were getting tired and cranky from the day which turned around quickly when they got to pick a prize from the goodie bag. The scallops were absolutely our favorite, and the salmon and kids meals were also great! GF options are clearly labeled on the menu as well. We knew nothing about this place going in. We felt welcome, and the kids asked if we could go there every remaining night for Spring Break, so I think they liked it too ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options were clearly marked on menu.

We loved everything about Sage Bistro! We were on a vacation and they were so kind and the service was great! They even had a special bag full of little gadgets/toys for our kids to pick from. When we come back to this area for vacation, we will definitely be coming back!

The service by the host & waitresses were top notch. Very accommodating & friendly. All of our meals were outstanding! I had the pesto shrimp great flavor! My wife had the Parmesan encrusted mahi she loved it. My daughter had the lobster pot pie & raved about it! I highly recommend this place! I will be back!

Have eaten here many times over the years even when it was Izzy’s. This was the worse meal ever by far. Saturday evening wasn’t that busy. I had the Schweinshaxe with red cabbage & spaetzle and my partner had the pesto shrimp in creamy sauce. My spaetzel was cold & crusty like when you store pasta in the refrigerator without a cover. I asked for it to be replaced. When it came at the end of my meal it was hot but as tasteless as possible someone forgot any salt. The pork was very chewy. The cabbage was awesome. My partners pesto was a mass of goo. Wasn’t edible. Considering I have the Schweinshaxe many times in the past I know what it should be. We left with a $118 bill adding 20% for tip, wasn’t the server fault, it was $140 of near total disappointment. Needless to say we won’t return again anytime soon. So sad

Popular local bistro. Initial prompt, friendly service. Florida casual, not a special occasion place. Disappointing food. Asparagus cold and not seasoned. Scallops over done and tough. Large portions but nothing worth taking home. However, lots of locals love this place but I will not return

The food is great, apart from snails (86 that, quick!). The service was well below par, the server along with managers have very low split vision, but the appertisers makes me overlook anything else...a weak 5 star.

We had the most amazing dinner at Sage Bistro last night! Staff are friendly and attentive and the food was some of the best I have had in a while. It was a little quiet, however we did dine quite late at around 9pm so I can imagine there would likely be a more lively atmosphere earlier in the evening. I had the sirloin risotto, the steak was a great quality cut of meat, cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The mushroom risotto was full of flavour and absolutely delicious, and the Gorgonzola cream sauce complimented the meal perfectly. The other dishes we ordered were the Sage alfredo, the lamb pot roast and the scallops and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Margaritas also went down a treat!
