Kumo Japanese Steakhouse | Cape Coral

This was the best hibachi dinner experience I’ve had at this restaurant and I am a regular here. Usually only sit at a booth or table but decided to do a hibachi table today. My chef Agus exceeded my expectations of what I would consider great service. He put on a great show and made me and my friend more than satisfied with our experience. We will 100% be back and hope to be served by him again. He deserves a raise in my opinion. Thank you Kumo and thank you Agus!!

Steak and shrimp was phenomenal alongside the exceptional service from Agus our chef. He was personable, professional and by far the best hibachi chef I’ve ever encountered. Give this guy a raise!!!!

Sat at the hibachi and enjoyed the show. The chef was funny and kept the mood up! I had the chicken, comes with 2 shrimp, veggies and rice. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Lady at the front today definitely has an attitude problem! Not personable at all..
Please know that sitting down at the table and sitting at the hibachi table will taste different !
We sat at the table today and when i tell you i feel like i wasted $40 that’s all i can think of.

Been coming here for 15+ years and it's always the same great service, atmosphere & quality of food. Great for a group special occasion, a date night or even just solo dining. Very dim inside which is fine with me but I know can be annoying to others. The staff is efficient and flips tables quickly without making you feel too rushed. Hibachi is always great, sushi is good quality & there's a decent drink menu. I'd say you only need a reservation for a bigger group or if you're coming on the weekend. They have good lunch deals & reopen for dinner. Absolutely love Kumo!

Absolutely disgusting. 🤮 🤮. I ordered chicken and shrimp teriyaki and it came with 90% onions with a few pieces of shrimp and chicken. Staff is rude!! This place is awful.
