Today My husband and i went here for the first time and ordered take out, i got the curry chicken with white rice & cabbage and my husband got the jerk chicken with rice and peas and oh my was it amazing! We will definitely be getting food here again!
Listen! I am very particular when it comes to my Jamaican food. A lot of restaurants tend to rush the food but this place fit all of my criteria. You can tell when food is cooked with love and care. The atmosphere was also very welcoming. When I mentioned it was my daughter’s birthday, they went out of their way to make her feel special. The gentleman at the counter (Mark) was an absolute pleasure to deal with!
If you love Caribbean food this little gem is a must. I had the oxtail with rice, cabbage, and plantains. The oxtail was seasoned well and they were cooked to perfection. My friend had a beef patty and said it was tasty. I ordered the jerk chicken to go and that was great too. They do add sauce to the jerk chicken so don’t let that throw you off. Definitely going back to try the curry chicken / shrimp and goat.
