My brother-in-law and I were going for Mexican food and then we noticed Rico’s Café. We decided to stop in and have a quick lunch. He ordered the Cuban sandwich and a café con leche. I just ordered the beef empanada because I had eaten a late breakfast. The Cuban sandwich was excellent. The pork in the sandwich had been marinated with a very tasty garlic sauce. The café con leche was great. My empanada was freshly baked and the crust and beef filling were wonderful. I also like the side garlic/mojo sauce that I added to the empanada. I wish I hadn’t eaten my late breakfast, because I would have ordered more! They also have a great breakfast menu. This will definitely be a place that we’ll be coming back to!

Different but a good different! My daughter and I really enjoyed this little quiet place. I got the chuleta de puerco, the pork chops were seasoned with some citrus to it it tasted like and the onions were thinly sliced and had perfect consistency. The banana was better than any I’ve had as I usually don’t like it much but it was good. Their fries tasted fresh and homemade. The Cuban was really good and was a nice portion and soft quality bread. The croquetas were labeled as cheese sticks in the pics on google but really not your standard cheese sticks as the innards are cream cheese type that tasted a lot like jalapeño poppers. Overall it was good food and we would go back.

Such a perfect little breakfast experience. Espresso and cortadito were lovely (it's a proper Cuban espresso, pulled with sugar, which we were really craving). Empanadas and croquetas were delicious and filling. Service was very kind. Can't recommend enough.

Absolutely a place to check out, the Cubano sandwich is right at the top of best I've had, pastries and desserts are amazing looking but was too full to find out so took a flan and eclair to go.
