My brother-in-law and I were going for Mexican food and then we noticed Rico’s Café. We decided to stop in and have a quick lunch. He ordered the Cuban sandwich and a café con leche. I just ordered the beef empanada because I had eaten a late breakfast. The Cuban sandwich was excellent. The pork in the sandwich had been marinated with a very tasty garlic sauce. Different but a good different! My daughter and I really enjoyed this little quiet place. I got the chuleta de puerco, the pork chops were seasoned with some citrus to it it tasted like and the onions were thinly sliced and had perfect consistency. The banana was better than any I’ve had as I usually don’t like it much but it was good. Their fries tasted fresh and homemade.
