I have always loved tropical smoothie but they seem to have changed quite a bit over the many years after I discovered them outside Orlando. Since we’ve moved back to this area a couple years ago we were happy to see they had 2 in the cape. They had none in 2012 when we moved away. The smoothie that used to be called the blue lagoon is called now blueberry Bliss and I always got that one. The color was very vibrant, but also plenty of fruit was put in it. Now it just lacks enough fruit or something is not there. Taste wattered down…..I think it’s less fruit honestly and its more watery has no flavor! Due to that after 2 times and complaining…… I changed to another smoothie that offers more fruit and it taste very similar now to the old blue Lagoon, which is a blueberry bliss renamed. The new flavor is a super smoothie that also has adds pomegranate and acai berry added to tge same ingredients as the bluberry bliss. It tells me fruit is definitely lacking in the other one cause it taste so much like the old blue lagoon renamed blueberry bliss.

We frequent this location fairly often, but they’re very inconsistent with the way that they make their smoothies. Sometimes they are barely frozen and their wraps are very inconsistent. We had one of the worst wraps ever yesterday and it was so skimpy and it had a bunch of hard crunchy Parmesan in it that’s all you could taste with like no meat no veggies just all tortilla. Literally, one end of it had nothing 1/2 of it in it This location is not real consistent with what they’re serving and all too often. If it’s that bad I return it or ask them to replace it. We are for paying a lot of money for them to be skimping on food that’s not made correctly. It may be they’re not training people properly or they’ve got too many new people coming in. Nobody wants to drink a smoothie that doesn’t taste like it’s got any fruit in it and they definitely don’t wanna eat a tortilla sandwich with nothing it.

Normally they’re very pleasant. Today was odd ordered my food I wasn’t asked what combo item I’d like then when I got to the window my card was snatched out of my hand. I was charged the wrong amount then refunded then told I had a balance of $7.47 when she initially charged me incorrectly. No apologies. Nothing! Owe you owe $7.47 is what I was told I said yes because you didn’t charge me properly. She then took another 10 minutes to give me my drink. I’ll stay away from this location!

DoorDash forgot one of my smoothies. Annalisse from the store personally came to my house and delivered it after I called the store. I just had major surgery and can’t drive and this extra effort meant so much to me. I love this location but this made me love it ten times more.

Rude workers with bad customer service drive thru lady made me a nasty acai bowl and did not want to give me my correct refund and claimed that I should not be upset that I didn’t get my correct refund back and proceeded to tell me to shut up. Please explain to me tropical smoothie why do you hire rude workers who don’t know how to give refunds with nasty attitudes

A HUGE shoutout to the girl working the window today around 1pm! Your patience with me and my perturbed attitude was wonderful! I was not irritated with the ordering process or you, I was irritated with the two rude drivers behind me that pay no attention to their surroundings and cut the line of three other people, which we had already been waiting for a bit. I’m not familiar with the menu, as my husband is usually the one that orders and picks up, but now I understand the confusion with what you were trying to tell me with what I was ordering. Again thank you for being nice and patient!

This location has no air conditioning and they are selling fruit and other products without proper temps being maintained I also witnessed an employee throw a strawberry back into the refrigerated area after it was

Absolutely disgusting these people need training and air so they don’t sweat in the food which all of them clearly are

I went to the location on Pine Island Rd.
The first employee didn’t speak English and so a second one came along.
I would say that you need to speak Spanish to get prompt service for that location.
Look… I am German/ American and cannot and will not go into a business with the expectation that ppl speak my native language. I had to learn English to find my way around in this Country.
Even though the employee was sweet and kind… so was the second one that spoke and understood English.
They are all nice … just saying, there is a principal to all of this.

The lady at the counter does not speak English. She got my order completely wrong.

Smoothies are great but shitty when you make your drive thru wait 15 mins for a smoothie that's been sitting and ready. Valery H wasnt even kind or anything about it, just blew off the complaint.

I used to like this place but manager has changed and the people there hiring don’t care. Last few times bacon not cooked all the way looks raw in my wrap and when you say here’s a tip they say no problem instead of thank you. Not impressed

We used to go to this location a few times a week with no issues. It seems management has changed. Today, they refused to honor the survey coupon. The manager (young female with dark hair who refused to give her name) called my wife a liar stating she did not do the survey. She did do the survey. Extremely rude and lost a regular customer over a few dollars. The smoothies taste watered down at this location since the management changed. I will take my business to the Santa Barbara location.
