We definitely thought that Leverock's had gone downhill. The latest we heard is that it would be closed until the end of the year while a new concept is looked for. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

We had a group of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had the steak, shrimp and grits, coconut shrimp and fish so everyone took a bite of each other's and it was all good. We got there around 5:30 and were seated right away. Service was quick and friendly.

Outstanding! The food was the best we have had in this town by far! Our server, Hunter, gave excellent service! The hostess was very friendly as well. The restaurant was clean and the view of the water is relaxing. We will be returning!

DO NOT COME here. Staff was friendly, but they only had one cook in the kitchen and 3 waitresses on a Friday night . We did not get a table for over an hour and were told it was almost ready several times and still weren’t seated . Food was brought cold and stale . Half the table received their food 30 minutes before over half . We arrived at 6:15 and didn’t leave until 9:30. I also got sick after eating their mahi mahi. I appreciate how hard their staff worked, but do not come here unless you want to be here for several hours.

Food was awful. Worse flounder we have ever had. It was like it was cooked in the microwave. Go to Rum Bay and don't waste your time at this dump

Pleasantly surprised! Based on the website photos & description, we expected this to be closer to fine dining and did not have high hopes when we first walked in because it looks more like a small town diner. HOWEVER, the GREAT service we got is exactly what you'd expect from a small town with really pleasant people. They almost pampered us and, our server Amber, who's only been a server for a month was an absolute delight. She took such great care of us.We were a party of 5 and ordered appetizers, main courses, and 3 of the same desserts.Appetizers: onion rings, cup of seafood gumbo, calamari, chicken wings extra extra crispy. EVERYONE was very happy with the choices.Main course: all of us had caesar salad, some had the dirty rice which wasn't that good, 3 groupers were very good, 1 steak was great and the other was overdone and they made every single offer to make it right. The 3 who ordered bread pudding are still talking about how good it was.We would definitely go back if we vacation here again. ???

An old standby that we really like and keep returning to. You can sit indoors or outdoors. It seems that fish is sometimes hard to find and that’s odd less than half a mile from the Gulf but there’s no fish shortage at Leverock’s. Any way you want it is OK with them. Taco Tuesday even has fish, beef, and chicken. Give Leverock’s a try.

Wow! How did I not know this Jewel is right here in Englewood area. A beautiful view of the water way looking over Don Pedro Island. Placida area is a boaters paradise and you add a top notch restaurant and you get a delightful experience. The menu was exactly what I wanted to have offered as we sipped on beverages and watched the sun set to the West over the Gulf of Mexico. The water taxi glides guest out to the island for those who have chosen to stay on the island for luxury over night stays.

This was the absolute worst fish we have ever had! We are on vacation and wanted a nice dinner out.....boy did make a mistake going here. We started off with calamari. It was so overcooked it looked like jerky....seriously. We choked most of it down...after all we were paying an arm and leg for it. Lol We both said we were glad we didn't order anything else fried. Our entrees came.... and oh my. The dirty rice looked gummy and tasted overseasoned. The green beans...How can you screw those up...right? The beans tasted of oil. Now the fish. We ordered the pan seared grouper....it was supposed to have seasonings on it.....it didn't but also was overcooked. 1st time I had to cut grouper with a knife!!!! The other entree was the Mahi Mahi. The breading was thicker than the actual fish. It was a joke. The topping looked like wet cat food. We paid our bill and let our waitress know to inform the manager. She did offer to get the manager...but we did choke down some of the meal....so we paid for it. Extremely disappointed. The plus...the bread was good. Lol

Omg... where to start. We went here by accident.. well... the place we went to beforehand had over an hour wait... so, we backtracked and here we are. Suprised at no wait. Place is awesome looking, right on the water. Menu looks pretty standard. Had some drinks.. so far ok. Ordered two appetizers, calamari ok, fried cheese AWESOME. Also, brought out some bread. Look in the basket, two warm rolls with a cup of butter..... already softened!!!!! No ridiculously little pat cups to peel off... real warm ready to spread butter. Ok.. sorry. Thought that was cool. Anyway, Ribeye, mashed potatoes for me, fish and chips for the lady. Fish was outstanding. The Ribeye..... I'm not lying here... the best steak I've EVER had. Perfectly cooked.. every bite better than the last. Topped off with bread pudding and awesome coffee... WOW!! Absolutely perfect meal. Not one complaint. And our waitress Michelle.... freaking awesome.. friendly, professional, engaging, not to mention extremely pretty.. the vibe is classy casual. The place screams " this is why we live in Florida ". Go eat there. Oh yeah, very reasonable prices. Im definitely going back.

3rd time down in Cape Haze and all we kept hearing about was Leverock's, so we decided to check it out.We were seated quickly by the very friendly staff. Our waitress in particular was so nice and very attentive.Everyone liked their meals, even the kiddos. I had the shrimp and grits which was very tasty but boy was it heavy. It was reminiscent of new England clam chowder consistency and I normally don't eat like that so I felt very full. That said, taste was very good and there was a good amount of shrimp. My wife and mother-in-law loved their frozen drinks as well as their meals. It's a safe bet for good, not great, food with a very nice staff and good pricing. We'll visit again.

Our server, Brittany, was very attentive and very good at her job. She made an enjoyable experience even better. The food was great, too - I've had some great Seafood Boils in my time, and this was definitely one of them. Thank you, everyone at Leverocks!!

Great food and service! Bartender was especially attentive while we were waiting for our table. Many thanks to the host/management for not seating more tables than the staff could accommodate.

Party of five. Three meals were not so good, overcooked and did not know you could have tough grouper . Two meals were wonderful. Clam chowder was fantastic. Liked the restaurant, hated several meals were not up to par. Hopefully this is a one off.

Disappointed Food was not worth the money. I had the clam chowder. I got a bowl. It was way too big. It was ok. There was clumps of something maybe the thickener. My husband got the red chowder. Also just ok. Piles of white rice. I ordered pan seared grouper sandwich. Pan seared should be seasoned? Literally white fish no seasonings at all. The Meal was supposed to come with cole slaw. I asked for it and was told They ran out. Husband got the seafood fra deablo. Not much seafood and 25% of the seafood clams and mussels did not open. (Which is not good) Staff should have checked that out before serving. I wouldn’t god back or recommend. A waste of $80+ for two. ?
