“Just stopped in for drink and appetizers. Friendly, quick service, delicious specialty drinks and the appetizers were very good. Only place on island so we didn't have much choice, but we were pleased. Would have given higher score, but we really weren't there long. The fried green tomato caprese was delicious!”

“As a Texan with a constant craving for good BBQ, I've been disappointed by Florida's offerings – until I found this place. It's the only spot worthy of claiming to serve Texas BBQ. The brisket sandwich was phenomenal, with perfect flavor and juicy brisket. This place won’t serve you dry brisket like other local joints…. The service was excellent, and with the owners hailing from Texas, the Texas spirit shines through. It felt like a taste of home in Florida.”

“Whenever we can, we eat breakfast or lunch at Mango Bistro. We sometimes contrive to do something in Englewood (like go to the post office there instead of our local one) specifically so we can go to Mango afterwards. Their food is all fresh and well-prepared, plus they have a wide selection of fresh juice concoctions with or without alcohol.We love just about everything on the menu. Their quiche is great and is accompanied by a huge side salad. All of their wraps, tacos, and sandwiches come with blue corn chips and fresh fruit slices, when available. The staff are warm and welcoming. And we've found the other people who eat there to be friendly as well.Thank you, Mango Bistro, for doing such a great job so consistently!Vegetarian options: They have a separate vegetarian menu.Dietary restrictions: There are many options for those who have food sensitivities. If you tell your server what issues you have, they will either recommend something for you or they will ask one of the food prep people what options they can recommend.”

“Loved our lunch so much at Farlow’s that we went back later in the week for dinner. Wonderful patio, dog-friendly, superb food with SO many choices and helpful staff (Thanks Lexie & Tonee). Depending on day/time you plan to visit, I recommend you make reservations. We stopped by one evening w/o reservations and the wait was over an hour so we decided to eat elsewhere that evening and reserve a dog-friendly table on the patio for lunch later in the week. Lunch was lovely with great weather to sit outside, umbrellas for shade if needed. I enjoyed the Loveland Bay Peach & Mahi Salad (mahi perfectly grilled) while my husband enjoyed the True Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Started with Coconut Shrimp as appetizer and the shrimp were perfectly done with a delicious sauce. On our dinner excursion, we tried two tasty dishes: hogfish and Kentucky Chicken & Waffles (very generous portion). We were too full to eat dessert at Farlow’s so we took it with us and found the pina colada cheesecake and blueberry pie were excellent.”

“Great little Ice Cream shop. We love our homemade ice cream shops. We have had Arctic Alligator's ice cream before and were actually going to go there this afternoon, but it didn't open until 2p. Then we searched up ice cream shops near us and found this cute ice cream shop that served Arctic Alligator ice cream as well. We were so happy. We got 1 scoop in a waffle cone. I can't resist key lime pie or cheese cake, so when you put my 2 favorite deserts in an ice cream, I have to try it. Let me just say it did nit disappoint. Delicious. My so got chocolate ice cream hard serve, and my husband mixed roasted coconut ice cream and salted Carmel praline on a waffle cone. It was all amazing. The service was great and loved the cute dining area. There are plenty of tables to sit at inside or outside. We chose to sit inside since it was a little hot out at the time. A/C works great here, by the way. We will definitely be back to try my flovors.”

“Sisters! Wow! Great food. Fun outdoor atmosphere. Deck dining with umbrellas for shade. Indoor atmosphere seems old school and clique-would recommend seating outside. Menu has great Italian fare offerings. Lots of apps, salads and entrees. Our server Jax was amazing!! It was a busy Saturday. Takeout was happening and all tables were full! We were a large party and he more than accommodated all of our requests, he was generous, helpful and happy. The other servers and hostesses we encountered looked miserable and acted so- we were so pleased to have Jax! Calzone, pizza, tuna salad, Cesar salad, chicken Parmesan, all tasted great! The dipping oil is very tasty to accompany the bread prior to the meal. Would definitely come back here next time we are in Boca Grande”

“Yesterday, we had such a delicious lunch at this charming, clean and relaxing restaurant. Our server Alexis was superb! She was super knowledgeable about everything on the menu & very helpful with helping us choose. We went with the shareable Sultans platter and were not disappointed. The platter was so beautiful in it's presentation and everything on it was so fresh. The tastes were all there and our favorite was the Adana kebab. We are from Toronto and have huge selections for Mediterranean restaurants and we feel this restaurant is a huge HIT.We did not leave without going into the bakery and picking out some treats. I will have to say Alexis again was not wrong about the eclairs. They were to us what we remember growing up as a true chocolate eclair. Fresh, fresh, fresh and delicious. We will be back! “First glance its very cute. When you walk inside it is very small. There were about 15 options for ice cream and many more smoothie, sundae and milkshake options. The shop, along with all the other stores, closed at 6. It should be open much later especially during spring break. I say this because it was very busy and if it were open later it would have so much more business. Needless to say it was a great experience and great ice cream. Was it worth $20 for a waffle cone and sundae. No. But I believe a 4 star us fair for an honest business with hard working employees.”

“Been here many times and usually order the Sashimi deluxe. I added an order of sashimi scallops tonight and thought it was the worst $7.95 spent. First the menu says you get 2 pieces, when I reality it is one piece cut in halves, plus I’m not even sure that was real scallop. The texture and taste were just not there.Overall I like the place but I don’t like to get tricked in something that’s not what I ordered.My Sashimi deluxe was great! Service was fine!”
