Great setting in North Captiva. The menu is good but on the expensive side (understandable, for its location). Our grouper Reubens were $29 (ouch) but were quite good and large. Beers were $8 (ouch). They've gone to an order at the bar format, which is fine. All-in, this is a good spot for boaters, but it's expensive. You need a loan to buy a shirt in the gift shop (ha)..
A nice location that I visited while visiting the gulf coast. Food was decent, drinks were cold, and overall a pleasurable experience. Visited by boat and had plenty of dock space. Walked up to bar area where we ordered drinks and started tab and walked up to a table to sit for lunch. While we got out food, ended up walking up to bar for another drink. While this part falls on me, did not pay close attention to the bill and realized they tagged on a service fee, which was essentially the tip. I generously tipped on the total balance, not realizing tip was included. Once back at home, attempted to contact the location and never heard back. While it clearly falls on me, think it is crappy when locations tag on service fees for small groups. Mix in a few cocktails, and pretty sure I'm not the only person who fell for this. Don't mind paying island pricing, however the added service charge is annoying especially when you are pretty much expected to walk up to bar and order your drinks. guess the servers had a good tip day. would probably go back, but would be more attentive to the tip surcharge.
The good ol days of Barnacle Phils are long gone. Now its just a money pit with horrible service. Might want to start locals specials.
Food was good and highly recommended.

We tried to contact them about bringing a large group for lunch. No phone, no email, and they did not respond to multiple inquires on their website. I guess they're not interested in our business so we'll go elsewhere. There's lots of other choices.

Food was good and quick service. Quiet laid-back atmosphere.
We haven’t been here since the hurricane So glad that it’s back The buffalo chicken quesadilla was fabulous. Love the painkillers. The service was great Easy to do or both Sadly, the area is full of trash. The island is full of trash. The property has nothing but trash, so sad that no one has come to pick it up.
It's great to be able to visit again. Fun setting with happy, friendly staff. Great to visit by boat.

Very expensive for 3 people. 150 is a lot for us and we didn't even order much. Burger King has much better hamburgers. Will not be going there. Bad smell of dead fish when sitting outside. No waitresses, you have to go up to the counter to order.

Love the atmosphere. Food was okay at best, portions were small considering price. Drinks over priced. Did not appreciate they automatically charged a 20% service charge. Watch your bill. Paid $180 for 4 sandwiches and 4 drinks. Enjoyed the experience but won't return. Lots of other choices of waterfront restaurants.

Great location …BUT BEWARE OF A SERVICE FEE. Kind of sneaky . My friend commented on how expensive it was, so I looked at the receipt and they tacked on nearly $20 without his knowledge. Oh, they also add a premium if you use a credit card .
Didn’t eat here , only had drinks. 4 stars because the flys were obnoxious sitting outside with our drinks. 5 of us and they added a large automatic tip, so read your check carefully

This is a mixed review. Start with the good: food was good and served hot and fresh. Had the buffalo shrimp appetizer which was excellent and the blue cheese dip was some of the best I’ve ever had. I had blackened shrimp tacos and friend grilled shrimp tacos which were great. Very tasty and shrimp cooked perfectly! The ugly: orders are taken at the bar and the food delivered to your table. I got the credit card ticket where there was a place for the tip and tipping amount suggestions. I almost felt bad about putting a minimal tip . Realized the amount seemed high when I got to my table and noticed a “Service Charge” of 20% had already been added to the tab. They should mention or have a sign letting you know there’s a mandatory tip. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!! They pre tip you! The service wasn’t bad, but they didn’t really provide service like a sit down restaurant. Just be aware!!!
Went for lunch on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The drinks were cold and the food was delicious. We will definitely go back.
