Cute, charming lil shop for coffee, desert, & ice cream and great service from Kyler who patiently explained to me all the delicious looking cake/muffin options. Karla was also helpful. They serve ice cream too obviously. The cake slices they serve are ginormous! Enjoyed the throwback vibe of this charming place including the Golden Oldies that were playing. Cake was good, but looked better than it tastes.

came in at 5:35pm looking to get a slice of cheesecake and ice cream. they said they can’t sell me a cheesecake at this time. meanwhile they have whole and slices of cheesecake in the fridge. i say okay it’s fine. i asked if im able to sample the ice cream so i knew whether or not id like the blueberry cheesecake ice cream. she said they dont do samples. the ice cream sucked, i took two bites and threw it out. I came in with my boyfriend who is allergic to eggs, they were unsure of the ingredients in their ice cream. after checking they said the ice cream didn’t have egg. as we are eating the ice cream in the car, he starts to have an allergic reaction. not sure if it was due to cross contamination or the ice cream itself.

This place wasn’t worth it, I rather drive to Sanibel to get ice cream. They don’t take allergies seriously, customer service skills from both workers need improvement. I won’t be returning

The cashier who made my coffee was so informative and good at what he does.

We tried the raspberry sorbet cone and vanilla cone. Sorbet was refreshing and made with real raspberries, not that artificial tart flavor. And the vanilla was just perfect.

Stumbled upon Boops after a day at the beach. Delicious iced lattes, muffins and cake slices! You have to stop if ever visiting Captiva!

Great IDEA on Captiva while everything is still rebuilding, but the hours are ridiculous! Who thought of closing at 6pm on an island where people are vacationing and want dessert and ice cream after dinner?! Not very intelligent. We went once during hours to take Bubble Room cake back for later. Unfortunately the world famous cake was awful and dry and did not do any justice to our beloved Bubble Room.

Stopped in here during our trip to the island more times than I can count. Every visit we were greeted with great service and wonderful food and drinks. A couple mornings we came in for coffee or tea and a breakfast sandwich. We also stopped by for ice cream one night (delicious). The atmosphere here is wonderful, and we will definitely be back. (Ps the orange crunch cake is to die for)
