The Bubble Room Restaurant

After being closed for an extended time, due to the hurricane, the Bubble Room is back! Well worth the wait and if it’s possible, it better than before! The grouper was outstanding and probably the best we have ever eaten (and we eat a lot of grouper!). Wonderful service, fun setting and reasonable prices for a resort area. Save room for dessert!

Bubble room has been completely restored! Amazing job putting it back exactly as it was before! Definitely a family venue. Tiny bubble is my fav! A sample of best entrees.

Darian was a wonderful Bubble Scout! We enjoyed her enthusiasm, the food and the atmosphere. The Bubble Room never disappoints. Thank you for another amazing evening!

Drinks and food were great. We had “Getting Caught in the Rain”. Super good rum drink in a pineapple. Our server Angel was fantastic!

The Bubble Room came up on the local news in our area and made us curious to explore it. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking available. Upon arriving at the opening (11:00AM -Sunday), we were greeted by a line of employees wearing big smiles, dressed like boy scouts and one of them even played a conch shell call for us! The venue itself is eclectic and wears a lovely story that our server Heather was happy to share. We were seated immediately and ordered a Carmen Miranda (Pineapple bowl with rice, shrimp, fruit salsa, and mango chutney), a Turk Douglas (Turkey, bacon, red pepper, guava jam, and sriracha mayo) and a Modern Times (BLT with avocado, spinach, and pesto mayo): all EXCELLENT, very tasty with an appealing presentation and reasonably priced! We also had Carolina Moon (home made chips). As this was still morning, we had coffee, ice tea and black tea (Bigelow orange rind and sweet spice). The black tea was a suggestion from Heather and it turned out to be a nice new discovery. Having enjoyed all our orders, we took a large (they are all large) piece of Orange Crunch cake to go for later and this turned out to be a lovely add on. BTW, this is the most requested cake all around but they do have many other types to choose from. All in all, this is a lovely, local historical place not to be missed. The server was great, the food awesome and we highly recommend it. Captiva was hit hard in the last 3 yrs by back to back hurricanes and the Bubble Room has survived and is up and running, a visit won't disappoint!

So glad to be able to enjoy going there once again. The place looks amazing after all the hurricane damage. Our Bubble Scout Angel was terrific! Just wish they would bring back the Piggly Wiggly sandwich.

Food was so delicious and the atmosphere is so cool!! Ashley took great care of my friends and I and told us about the restaurants history and the best dishes to try. 10/10 would come back again. Thank you Ashley for a wonderful evening. :)

Great atmosphere and good food! The group in a bag is a must have meal! The bubble bread as an app is such a great starter. So glad they came back after the hurricane with just as much charm.

The food was great! I had the Carolina Moons ( 1/2 cheese & bacon and 1/2plain) and You Can’t Tuna Piano. Large portions and tasty. We took a slice of Orange Crunch Cake to go to eat later. It was yummy:) Our server Ashley was very attentive and helpful in making our selections. Great atmosphere and memorabilia.

Serenity was a delight and very attentive to small details. Food is way better than pre-Ian. Cute decorations and you walk in and just feel happy. Highly recommend and oh the cakes...soooo yummy and large slices.

We are super excited that the bubble room is back the food is amazing and their service was incredible the atmosphere is always amazing and the Christmas vibe all throughout the year is awesome

Our server Serenity provided exceptional service. We never waited for anything. And the decor was simply fascinating

My husband & I went there for dinner several evenings ago. The staff are very kind, & accommodating. My husband ordered grouper bites which were very good. I ordered crab cakes, which were awful! My dish came with 2 very small cakes . There was next to no crab & mostly breading & spices. I should've sent it back but our server was so sweet, I didn't want to be difficult. We will not go back sadly. I'm giving a 2 rating b/c the staff were so nice.

Great grouper dish with a creamy piccata sauce. Our server was spot on and very pleasant. We topped things off by splitting a piece of key lime pie yum yum . The other selection was a salad with primarily shrimp and scallops . Very nicely prepared.
